  We bought a vehicle from a private party. Vista Capital provided the funding they sent a messenger to look at the vehicle to verify the van and the verify the title was right and to give them a check. This was in March of 2022 we have been making payments on this vehicle since then and we have not received any paperwork yet so we can register the vehicle we would like to get this resolved. I call numerous times a day here lately and I cannot get a call back

  Approximately a year ago we financed a vehicle for Mr. ******* company that was purchased from a private party seller.  This process requires a 3rd party inspector to exchange payment for the title of the vehicle.  This 3rd party is a national company whose sole purpose is to be involved in this type of transaction and was scheduled by the lender.  The 3rd party exchanged the payment for the title of the vehicle and then Vista Captital instructed the 3rd party where to send the original title which was to the buyer, **************** so they could properly flip the title into their business name with the lender as the lienholder.  The 3rd party company, QuikTrak, has indicated in writing that their inspector did in fact send the title via ***** to the buyer.  The title, to date has not shown up which means it was either lost en route or the inspector never sent it as they indicated they did.  Furthermore, the seller of the vehicle purchased it from a different party prior to the sale we were invovled in but never put the title into their name.  Since we have a copy of the title we have actually reached out on our end to the original owners to let them know there is a vehicle out there that still has their name on it and because it looks like we will need to order a duplicate title, as of right now, they may be the only ones that can legally do it.  We are also still waiting for a title agency to respond to see if there is anyway our buyer with the proper documents can order a duplicate title.  While we were the broker on the transaction, and we completely understand the frustration of the buyer, this simply was not our doing.  We have been in contact with the complainant over the past week to let them know what we are attempting to do on our end to help resolve but we were not the party in the first place that caused this situation.   We are hoping to help resolve in the next few days as we await a few more answers from some different agencies to see if they can help.
