    I called out E an J appliance to do an oven repair they came out placed a sensor it did not work. I asked for a refund on part of the service refund because I paid two service charges and parts. The owner ***** said he would refund the part and half of the labor costs a total of ******. He told me 2x the check was in the mail and have a voice mail from him indicating he mailed the check. I never received the check I made arrangements to pick up check because he was lying about having mailed it two times. I made arrangements to pick up the check and the check was only for $69.52. I asked the employee about the wrong amount she started yelling at me and became verbally abusive. I have a text message with her apology for raising her voice. This has been going on since May 20 th with no resolution only excuses. I would like to use this money towards a new stove which was recommended by service repair guy if the sensor did not work. Please help me!

    This is **** the owner of E&J Appliance. There were some communication errors on our part in the office about the check being mailed out and this was relayed to the customer. We did have a problem with the post office for a week or so and got some items returned to us and this customer happened to be one of them. I did communicate this with her. when I wrote the check, I forgot that I had agreed to refund half the labor which is $40 to the customer so the check was $69.52 not ****** as agreed upon. I spoke with her about the check after she came and picked it up and told her I would personally deliver the missing labor to her. I did so that evening after work hours. I do understand the customers frustration with getting her refund back, I would be frustrated as well. I did reach out to her right before sending this and asked her to please take down the reviews or at least change them to reflect that even though late I did get you your refund. As a small business reviews like these can be quite detrimental to a company. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution had been resolved the owner dropped off the remainder amount due. I will consider this complaint resolved.
