    I have a sour taste on my mouth after my first and only experience with this shop First of all I chose this shop on the fact that, they advertise as honest ,fair , and been the oldest operated shop in ****** also recommended by *** IA I dropped my car advising that as a none mechanic and common sence I believed the car was overheating, when I drove a little further then the school the car released coolant, my car was keep for almost two days and was advised a leak wasn't found but no answer on if was and why overheating as I stated at dropped off ***** seems only concern on where it was leaking instead of the why?? And allowed me to get back home on a car that overheated again by the time I got home charging me for a diagnostic that didn't dignosed the issue but copied from another diagnostic by a previous shop yes!! We know it needs spake plugs!!! I had to pay again to a mechanic that kindly came to the house and took two minutes to confirm the car was overheating by simply removing the reservoir cap and showing me why the water overflow and that when filled again started boiling again with in two seconds of starting the engine. I requested a refund of the diagnostic fees from ****** and I was given the call to **** whom seems is the same person that dignosed and shop supervisor acted as is his ego is hurt and so defensive instead of listening to the facts. I don't know yet is he is going to issue a refund.

    The customer brought in her vehicle asking for a diagnosis for two separate things, the check engine light was on and she said it was overheating. Our charge for diagnosing a check engine light is $144 which she agreed to pay. We told her we would also investigate why it was overheating. Our ASE Certified technician pressure tested the system and we were unable to find any leaks with the hoses, thermostat housing, radiator, etc. The cooling fans were working as designed. We were unable to determine with 100% certainty what was causing the overheat issue after spending several hours with the car and it wasn't overheating while we were testing it. Our shop rate on German vehicles is $158/hour yet all we charged her was the original agreed upon diagnosis fee for the check engine light (which is a completely separate issue with her vehicle). We gave her an estimate on those repairs and she declined to address them. Although there was discussion within the shop of probable causes for the overheating, including the very likely head gasket scenario, we are not going to guess and quote out a head gasket job for likely $3000+ without knowing for sure. Not only that, the fact is that is not a repair we would even want to do on that vehicle. As it was, it turns out what we did quote her on had already been quoted by another shop. I don't think she expected our time to be free to her when she dropped it off and the fact that we took a long time was our attempt to duplicate and verify the concern and ultimately she only paid for 1 hour of our time, not the several we actually spent on it. I'm sorry she was dissatisfied with the outcome, I am as well to be honest, but the estimate for the check engine light was all that she paid for and that charge was approved and justifiable.

    I was charged a 500% mark up on parts ! I could have gone somewhere else and saved $300 But, they were AAA recommended company and thought I could trust them. I will never use them again for anything ! Consumer beware !

    This customer had his vehicle towed in and authorized the repairs. We fixed it and afterwards he priced out the parts on Amazon and found cheaper parts so he thinks we ripped him off. His ****** review claimed he would have saved $300 (the parts we sold him totaled $295) so the validity of this complaint is to be taken with the proper grain of salt. I suppose he wanted us to provide him the parts for his car at no cost? The Original Equipment AC Delco parts that we used are certainly going to be priced higher at a retail automotive shop than anyone could find on Amazon. This job was sold at proper pricing and done correctly and the customer shouldn't have had us to the work if he didn't like our pricing.
