    I took my antique clock to the Ye Old Clock Shoppe to have them repair the back of the clock on 9/18/2018. The clock has still not been repaired at this time. The owner cited problems with the Covid virus and lack of finding clock repair persons as the reason for the delay. After numerous calls and visits to the shop concerning the repair, I was assured many times that they would be working on my clock and that it would soon be finished. I have been more than patient with this business, to say the least. The last time that I saw the clock it was completely taken apart with the parts in a box sitting on the floor. I am afraid that they may have stripped parts from my clock or have severely damaged it in some way. I am afraid to remove my clock from their store because it would be my word against their word as to who was responsible for any damage done to my clock once it left their premises.     On May 10,2023 I took my antique clock to be cleaned and tuned up. They said it would take 6 months- fine. Every month we would stop into the shop to check on it because they never answer the phone. In December of 2023 they did reply to my email saying it was still being worked on. I have sent more emails , registered letter, texted to the billing phone number and have gotten no replies. In April we went to shop and the lady said she had a clock but did not know who it belonged to. Well it was my clock. She said I owed an additional $100.00, I had no choice but to pay it. No one had called to tell me that- not right. We got the clock home and it runs fine but the chime does not work. It is wound too tight on one side- they did this. The chimes always worked before. Since they never reply back to me I am afraid to have them fix what they broke.
