    This business does not have good business practices. Deposits paid to them are not used for the designated project. My mother took out a loan to pay this company to convert a workshop to a small dwelling unit. He took 40% of the quoted price before any work was ever done on the property. When my mother got very ill she canceled the project and the owner seemed very understanding and promised to return funds. When no money was returned she became despondent and knew she had been defrauded since there had still been no work on her property. After five months, he did return 10% of what he took and repeatedly promised to pay more but claimed he no longer had the money. My mother has since passed and though he was informed he still owed her estate the funds but he has not even had the courtesy to respond. I strongly discourage anyone from giving this company any large deposits since the money is not set aside to do the work they promise and they don't communicate after they've already spent your money.

    Stoney Hill Construction ----EXCELLENT---******, the contractor, is respectful and friendly---came out and gave a free reasonable/affordable quote. I had a broken shower door completely replaced. The work was done with efficiency and cleanliness----they are an exceptional contractor and I would most certainly hire them again.*******************
