Paid substantial deposits (~$3500) to have windows repaired and repainted and to have new doors installed in June 2023, Left the windows half-finished after 3 days of work and never returned despite being notified that there was leakage and some of the painted areas were cracking and bubbling. Contacted **** to say I'd had enough of being blown off and was promised he'd be back in January, which came and went. Filed an ROC complaint and **** said we should meet to discuss. I told him when I was available. Then crickets for weeks now. I've tried to be understanding but I'm done making all the effort to establish contact.

This contractor billed me 3750 for floor tile installation labor, plus 1525 for backsplash installation. The work was done in April (Not sure what date). He called me on 5/5/23 while I was out of town, frantically asking me to pay him for the flooring by the end of the day because "the flooring guys are pissed and I have to pay them". I did owe him this but the work had only recently been completed and had some issues, so I asked if I could pay when I was back in town on 5/8. He insisted that he needed to pay them ASAP, so I paid him the entire amount immediately. He said thank you and I thought it was finished. On 5/30/23, I received a phone call on my personal phone from Francis Moses, the owner of Carpet and Flooring Network. He stated that he was the company that Eric Touhey had hired for my job, and that he had not been paid anything for my job. I reiterated that I had paid this 25 days prior to Eric. Both I and Francis texted and called Eric multiple times. Eric Touhey finally answered me stating "I owe him for a different job" which Francis insisted is not true. They settled on a final payment of 3200 dollars. However, I continued to get texts from Francis stating that he hadn't been paid and Eric had stopped answering all calls. I likewise am no longer getting any texts from Eric and feel that my money did not go to the right people who completed the work. I would like Francis to get paid his 3200 and the remaining balance that I paid refunded (2075 dollars).
