    Local contractors Matt Edmiston, “Remodels done Right” we had hired Matt to do some work on our house and he never showed up. We put down a $600. Deposit. Never received our refund.

    I hired Mathew Edminston who works from **** * ****** *** to work on my motorcycle. He does mechanic work along with remodeling supposedly. Matt asked for money up front and would continually ask for more money for more parts and issues that he supposedly found at random hours of the night. After sending him over $1100 and him still asking for more I told him I would wait to pay him in person when the work was done. After months of giving me the run around and telling me things like “sorry I got a new phone and didn’t get your messages” while texting me from the same number. He would continue to promise me he would get the work done by a certain date but always break his word. At one point He told me the bike was finished but the brakes were losing pressure and he didn’t feel comfortable giving the bike back without it being 100%. I would ask for updates but he would just be impossible to get a hold of. After about six months of him avoiding me and not texting me back, I tracked down where he was keeping my bike and his dad let me look at it. Zero work had been done and the bike was covered in dust. Matt would never answer my phone calls or respond to my messages so I took my bike back with his dad present. Since Matt was too frightened to show his face I asked for a refund over text for the work he never completed that we had agreed upon and all I have gotten is crickets. The man, if you can call him that, is a scammer and a liar. Do not do any business with Mathew Edmiston or Remodels done right.

    Matthew Edmiston provided a bid to remodel a bathroom and fireplace. The bid was accepted and I gave him a deposit along with extra money to cover materials (e.g. tub, toilet, paint, seals). He was to start the project in 6/12/24 but I did not hear from him. He did not answer my calls/text until almost a week later and promised to start that week. From that point on, he kept promising to be there that day, but would not show up. He did send his "dad" one day and he took out the tub/shower which took a total of 4 hours but he never returned again. After over a week of no one showing up or completing work, I asked for my money to be returned. Matthew assured me that he would, however it has been several weeks and he has not responded to any calls or text and has not returned the money ($$$$). Do NOT hire him. He is a scammer and will only take your money and then give you the run around. I have found multiple people since this situation that he has done the same thing to and still owes money to them as well.

    I hired Matt from Remoldes Done Right to remodel our new store at Uptown Foothills Mall. I emailed him all the requirements that Bourn need him to fulfill before starting the remodeling job.
    He informed me everything was clear from Bourn and he can start the job and needed to pick up supplies from Homedepot and needed half of his deposit to start. We gave half and paid for supplies. Once he started the job, the management company tried to contact him and he finally responded. Management company ask for his license information. And the information he provided was false and the project was stopped.
    He was also work on a plumbing job at one of my rental property. Told me he finished and he had not. I give full payment for the plumbing job. My tenants called 1 week later to ask when the was come back to finish. And that is when I found out he did not complete the job. After this , he texted me back with replys a few time. After that ,no response. He also purchased clothing from one of our stores for a wedding and said he would take the amount off our bill after he finished the project which never happened.
    Also he got a hold of my Wells Fargo Credit card and tried to take cash out be the transaction was denied.
    And used some how used my homedepot Credit card to purchase items for different jobs that were not mine.
    Still fighting with homedepot about those 2 purchases

    I hired Remodels Done Right with Matt Edmiston to build a 6' X 20' deck in the front of my house. It was to include using and existing set of stair on the front of the deck and also build a new set to come off the left side of the deck. Built with composite decking and railings. He was also to update a set of stairs off the side of the house with the new composite decking and new railings to match the front of the house. He started the project over a month ago and he stated that it will only take 1 week to build. I want 100% of my money back, since I have to start over with another contractor to get the job done.

    I contracted with Matthew Edmiston at Remodels Done Right to add three doors and remove a wall in our home. Mr. Edmiston accepted the contract in April 2023, estimated two weeks to complete the project. In July of 2023, Mr. Edmiston stopped performing any services. I delivered a default notice, and provided 30 days for him to cure. Mr. Edmiston did not perform any additional work. I offered Mr. Edmiston an opportunity to settle the contract for a $2250 refund, and he agreed. After many promises to deliver the refund on specific dates, I have yet to receive a refund.
