I have a 1992 Caprice wagon, Ruby *** and silver. I am the second owner, since 2002, garage kept and in great condition with the exception the car had transmission leaks, and fuel pump.& oil change..... the car took longer to fix and was completed on 11/23/2024 for just under $4000.00. I had to take my car back several times. The first time gas was leaking out when filling up, That was fixed, next I found out I still had transmission leaks, out of the transmission rod, and speed sensor. In February 2024 I dropped of my car for repair, nothing was done. I was promised. I was told " i need to be patient, we need to take the transmission off again" and then was told to go to Break Masters. I have had several re-do repairs, "i have the receipts". in order of expense. The most expensive was Break Masters had to replace the Fuel pump and module. This was May 06, 2025 BRAKE MASTERS #*** ******, ** $1,130.62 My Caprice station wagon would not start. I needed AAA flatbed, to Break Masters, took 2 hours to get flat bed truck Friday May 2 5PM . ******************, where I am a History Teacher 10 years. The transmission leaks Sonora ************************************** **************************************** Auto Repair ***************************************** ******, AZ 8570 $141.00 to fix the Speed Sensor leak o ring, and leak at the Transmission leak where the shifter hooks up, seal. These two repairs took only 1 1/4 hours to fix. The transmission was not removed, the repair man/owner had me watch as he repaired. AAsro Transmission also stripped the plug to the oil pan, in November, found out in ************ change at Break Masters, whom usually changes the oil on my 1992 Caprice wagon found the plug stripped, that was never before . $13.50, lucky the whole oil pan did not need to be replaced/ that happens, would have been over $1200.00 The warranty work, for 1 year parts and labor at Aastro Transmission, and I was told by manager go to Break Masters. $1285.12

I am filing a formal complaint against Aastro Transmission due to repeated and unresolved issues with the service performed on my vehicle. Despite bringing my car in for repairs on at least three occasions, the original issues remain unresolved since September of 2024, and my vehicle has suffered additional damage under their care. It has now been over six months without a satisfactory resolution, and the shop has been unresponsive.

Each time I retrieved my vehicle, it was returned in poor condition, including excessive dirt and hard water stains that require professional detailing. The shop also caused damage to the valve covers, improperly sealed the transmission pan with silicone (which is unsuitable for transmission oil), and failed to diagnose a faulty alternator—misleading me into unnecessarily replacing my battery.

Additional oversights include failing to identify issues with the clutch plate, an unbalanced driveshaft, and disconnected components. These errors resulted in further inconvenience, unnecessary expenses, and additional repairs elsewhere.

Given their failure to provide proper service and lack of response, I am requesting a full refund of $3,231.34 so I can have the necessary repairs completed at a competent shop. I have already hired a lawyer and am prepared to escalate this matter further if my request is not addressed.

I urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate this matter and help facilitate a resolution.

I visit aastro for a car repair (coolant leak at the heater and AC issue) on 05/23/2022. After three weeks they replaced the parts and charged me $836.65 after claiming part to my extender car warranty. The same day the car broke off. I call them and they review it. After a couple of days of figuring out what was wrong they mentioned the ignition coils and spark plugs went bad, how after an AC repair and minor coolant leak, don't know. After, the explanation and 2 weeks later they charged me $1,521.36 for the work and when I received the radiator was off. After telling them I won't spend any other dollar on the car, I drove over to my home with a new issue that was not created by me. Also, considering that I replaced the coils and spark plugs one year before and they charged me $1,777.73 for a work they did again one year later and the car did not reach the millage for a spark plugs replacement. All bills are attached and a picture of the radiator leak after I got home from the car repair shop
