    We ordered an exterior door from Enhance on 11/12/2020 and put down an advance of $4000. It was installed on 8/4/2021 after we paid the balance of $2848. At that time we complained it was defective and Enhance did honor their lifetime guarantee and several months later, did provide a new door. Sometime in 2023, the lock handle began falling off onto the floor. Sporadically we called the Company to report this and ask to have the lock repaired. Each time we were told that it would be noted and that management would be contacted. After being frustrated with no response to our requests, we recently began charting the dates of our calls. On 5/25/24, my husband spoke with Sharon, 7/3/24 he spoke with Melissa and on 8/5/20245, he spoke with Sharon and on 8/5/24, Roberta called to ask a question. They all seemed concerned and said they’d report it and that Enhance is “extremely busy.” Today is August 15, ‘24. We respectfully ask the BBB to advocate on our behalf as our communications have proven futile.

    I did receive a telephone response after my complaint was received by Enhance Openings. The irate caller claimed his company had no record of any of our requests for service calls. He further said that Enhance had tried 11 times before receiving our BBB complaint to reach us.  His statement calls into question his  preposterous claims.

    NONETHELESS, our door lock was fixed on Thursday, August 23rd. I am happy about this but wish it hadn’t been so difficult to receive service. Please close this unfortunate chapter.

    I do want to convey my deepest gratitude for the Better Business Bureau’s  advocacy in this regard. You serve a great need to we consumers.
