  We contracted with the company to build some block wall and texture that wall plus the rest of the existing wall around the house. He showed up initially and did a little work and dropped off part of the materials then disappeared. Most of the work he did do was substandard. We had given him a deposit of $2000 for materials and then he kept asking for more money for more materials and labor. We gave him an additional $1000 and that was the last we saw or heard from him. His phone mailbox is full and he has not responded to messages. Our yard is a mess and the materials he left here don't come close to the $3000 we have given him. We have since found out that he has had his license suspended since early November, a month after we contracted with him.

  I hired Hula Construction on 4-13-23 mainly to build a block wall, pour 2 concrete pads and install pavers. After a deep trench was dug at my property line which is adjacent to 4 other homeowners, it was dangerously left uncovered for weeks despite the owner continually telling me the footers were going to be poured. They werent poured until June 14 and since that time nothing further has been done. Instead they left uncovered rebar sticking out of the concrete. The owner told me again and again they would be over to work but mostly they never showed up. I kept hearing everything would be completed in a week. The concrete pad they poured had minimal rebar that was not suspended but was left on the dirt. Nor was it cured and it cracked in several places. It had to be removed. The owner assured me he would supervise the next one but he did not show up. I made sure more rebar was used and I bought supplies to elevate it as required. The second concrete pad next to my driveway had NO rebar and is now cracked, broken off and disintegrated in multiple places. They pushed gravel in my backyard into piles and left it. They ripped out the plastic underlayment and threw it away. It looks like a disaster zone, They severed the *** cable and I had to pay $75 for the repair. They broke my irrigation system in multiple places and left me with no water. One repair left the pipes with ******************************************************************************************************************** concrete. DO NOT HIRE Hula Construction. The will lie to you, take your money and not finish the job or provide you with everything that you paid for. After endless delays, I gave them a deadline to finish the work. It is now July and it is still not done. I do not want anybody else to go through what I have experienced. Hula Construction has left me no choice but to file a complaint with the ************************.

  ****** gave us a quote on a privacy gate and failed to install it after we gave him half the money down to do so said he would have it done in by end of May. It still has not been done and hes not wanting to contact me back and let me know and resolve this issue. *** called numerous times and all he does is say well. We will try and get it done next week next week next week now Im to the point where I need to travel clear back from ****** to ******* to get this problem resolved so if you could help me I would appreciate it . The address he was to perform the work at is ******************************** unit ****. we are only there in the winter time and come home for the summer. He was supposed to have it done 20 days after we left and he has not accomplished that and we left on 15 April.

  On 3/23/2023, ******************************* of Hula Construction agreed to build a block fence and two gates. He assured me he would be able to finish everything by 4/1/23 because my grandson had a birthday party. However, after several days of not showing up or contacting me, the job continued to drag on. ****** would show up randomly at late hours or on the weekend, and do a little work here and there. He tried to drive the forklift over my pavers and broke several of them, had to fix what he broke. I now have concrete all mixed in with my ********* in the front yard and piles of random rocks in my backyard, even though I did not have rocks in my backyard before. The block fence is not level/sturdy and the gates have yet to be finished. He has been paid all money because he stated he needed to pay his workers and I unfortunately believed him and paid him. The block fence has patches of cement pieced together at the base of the fence. When I sent him pictures of it, he agreed that it would need to be fixed. The small gate is not level or secured properly, no slats, just bare metal and is not complete. The big gate is so heavy and since not secured properly, the screws are coming loose and cannot lift the heavy gate to close or open. Since 4/22/2023, ****** has not contacted me or made any attempts to refund me or finish the work he was paid to do.
