    1. Booked reservation for the nights of 05/17 and 05/18 at Travelodge by ******* at ********, AZ. 2. Called many times Travelodge by ******* at ********, *** to inquire further about the hotel and no one answered. We still planned to stay 2 nights at ********, **. Given no answer from Travelodge I cancelled online through Expedia on time before 4 PM local time before May 16, 2024, but did not get a digital cancellation receipt. Thus, kept calling Travelodge without success as no one answered. As mentioned, our traveling plans included 2 nights (05/17 and 05/18) at ********, AZ so I was physically at the Travelodge location to inquire further. Once I was there on 05/17/2024 I spoke with 2 front desk individuals to inquire further. I mentioned what transpired and that I did cancel on time but would like to see the place. I took pictures and was glad enough to have cancelled on time because the place is all degraded, filthy, and quite unsafe. I then was able to lodge at a safe decent respectable place at the Holiday Inn Express at ********, **
