I had an injury in 2018 when I moved to Yuma that I reached out to Pinnacle to receive an estimated cost of treatment. I was told a number over the phone. Putting off the appointment, I asked again in person when I was there for my employer's purpose, what the cost would be for treatment, and although I was provided a quote, I was assured it included all procedures that might be necessary. I made the appointment, and for a third time, before being seen, asked the cost. All three quotes lined up and I was fine with proceeding. I had an X-ray taken, as well as simple evaluation. Upon completion, I checked out and paid the balance in full before leaving. Two weeks later, I receive a call from an employee stating they made an error on their side and I needed to pay nearly double what I already paid and was quoted. This was not a letter, but a phone call while I was at work. I was not okay with the sudden change in costs without explanation, in which I never received. The next thing I received was a bill from a collection's agency. I have made numerous attempts to have them call or email me, but all have failed. I was willing to work with them to offer something due to their own errors, however, this has never been an option because they refuse to contact me. This has damaged my credit that I would like to fix. A company that tells a customer a price, whether a quote or not, and allows that customer to check out after paying the bill in full upon treatment should not come back later on a phone call asking for more money because they made an error. I am willing to be a better person and pay the amount for their mistake if they'll retract the bill from the collection's agency and remove the added fees.
