On March 24, 2023, I signed a contract and put down 50% (~*****) of our estimated cost as a downpayment in order to have my daughter's 16th birthday party at their venue. In June 2023, I tried to contact relevant staff via phone and email multiple times with no response. In August I finally received an email from someone identifying herself as the new contact for the account. I proceeded to email her questions on several occasions and was again left without a response. I was finally able to get her on the phone 2 months later in October 2023. I asked her to put me on a payment plan so that I could pay $1000/month until the event with a final payment of approximately $2,000 just before the event. She sent me the credit card authorization form, I signed it and returned it to her. I was charged $1000 one time in October. Two months later, I realized I was not being charged monthly, per our agreement. I reached out several times to figure out what was happening and received no response. I finally received a call from a new person on February 13, 2024. She confirmed that I had not been charged monthly as stipulated in my previous exchange with staff and that my final bill has come due and is over $5200. I have a long email trail documenting my attempts to contact their staff. In a meeting on February 20, 2024, I requested a months grace ****** in order to complete payment on my account. I can pay half now, and would appreciate the courtesy of being able to remit my final payment one month later. My balance would be paid in full 3 weeks after my event. While it is not their policy to make these types of concessions, this is an extraordinary situation. Almansor Court had my payment information, I followed up consistently to make sure I was doing my due diligence and short of running my own credit card on their behalf, I am not sure what else I could have done. I request this courtesy accomodation given the lack of timely and professional communication from their staff.
