I'm currently trying to have a vehicle shipped to ****************** and several shipping companies have sent me quotes. The shipping route is posted on a national 'Board' so shippers can see when the contract has been filled. I've signed a contract with ************ auto transport but Breamway has posted that they also have a contract. I'm trying to call Breamway to ask them to remove me from the Board but they've apparently blocked my number. My contract with ************ can't be executed until Breamway removes their incorrect contract from the Board. I think a simple phone call from BBB will probably solve the issue. Can that happen today because the vehicle needs to get transported right away? The vehicle has to be in ******* March 4th in order to be loaded on a ****** container ship for delivery to ******. I contracted Breamway LLC to transport a vehicle from ******** ******** to ******* **********. Breamway LLC quoted me $885 dollars to transport the vehicle from door to door with $250,000 of insurance on the vehicle. Breamway LLC breached their contract and were unable to pick up the vehicle for the agreed upon price and date. I explicitly told the representive at Breamway LLC that I no longer want to work with them and would find some other transport company to pick up the vehicle. Breamway LLC stated they would no longer pursue the contract, and stated they had removed the contract from their website. I received a phone call three days later from the Seller of the vehicle stating the car had been picked up; I was unaware it was being picked up and had no knowledge of who had pick the vehicle up. Upon investigation I concluded Breamway LLC contracted a transporter and picked up my vehicle without my permission. I had already hired a different transporter to pick up the vehicle and given a deposit of $450; a deposit which became forfeit when Breamway LLC picked up my vehicle without my consent. During transport the subcontractor (APX Shipping) that Breamway LLC hired lost both the right and left fenders and chrome pieces of my vehicle. My vehicle is a 1948 Chevrolet Fleetline and original parts for the vehicle are extremely hard to find and can be very expensive. Replacement parts for the vehicle are going to cost $3500 dollars and I would like to be reimbursed for the damages. I would also like to be reimbursed the $450 dollars I lost in the deposit to the other transport company; and $750 dollars for tracking the parts down which I will still have to do as I haven't been able to find all the pieces which were lost. The total reimbursement I am requesting is $4700 dollars for the damages, and the $1700 dollars in transport which I did not authorize.Initial Complaint

I worked with **** from Breamway on the delivery of my vehicle for a total agreed amount of $614, $156 of that being the broker fee and $458 for the car shipping. I signed the contract and paid the deposit on 1/29 for a 1/31 pickup. Two hours after signing, I asked if they could pick up the car on 2/3 instead. **** said that it wouldnt be a problem. At no point did he mention that this could or would increase the price by more than 2x, if he had, I wouldve kept my delivery for Friday and rushed my paperwork with the dealership. On Monday, 2/3/25, the day the car shouldve been picked up, he began giving me quotes for $1.2k-1.8k because their personal driver, who is significantly cheaper allegedly left two days prior around my original pickup date. I asked **** for my money back but he refused to give me a refund, although it is explicitly stated in item 15 of their contract If you cancel your order prior to assignment of a Carrier you will receive a FULL refund of all monies paid to Breamway LLC and no more. He kept urging me to sign with his contractors as we were hurting their relationship by having drivers wait on standby for my sign off and he kept insisting that the 1k amount was a great deal. On 2/4, **** put me on a call with the driver from the alleged delivery company whose name was ***** to explain why the 1k price is the best option for me. The actual delivery was made by a driver with a different name. Im certain he added a friend or someone else from his company to pretend to be a driver to get my business (which I knew was happening but at this point I just wanted my car). Since I was fed up, I agreed to $975 (total $1131 vs $614 original agreement) and signed the paperwork. After agreeing to proceed with shipping, he guaranteed a delivery for Friday 2/7 on the phone, however the following day he emailed me that Friday was merely an estimate and that it is possible that the car would be delivered on Saturday 2/8.Initial Complaint

Breamway did not provide a carrier for $655 saying that carrier had an accident and could not ship my car. They then offered another carrier at $1600 to ship the car. That was unacceptable, which I told them. They said they would try to find another carrier at a lower price. but not at price I was first given. I refused that offer and requested a refund of $155 that I gave them. There was no mention of any type of cancellation fee, *** said he would apply for refund after trying to find another carrier and was hesitant to confirm refund.Initial Complaint

I got a quote from that company for transporting my car from ************ to **********. They quoted me $1,025 on May 30th 2024. I agreed to that price and I paid a deposit of $120 that I sent to them through my bank account via Zelle. A few days later, on 6/3, I got messages from that company that the price increased because the "drivers are all asking for more money". On 6/6 they said the price of transportation was going to be "arround $1850". I informed them that I was not willing to pay more than what was quoted for me initially. They agreed they will refund my deposit back, but they never did. Ever since that time they have been playing cat and mouse with me, I called back several times and texted them back several times and still no refund.Customer Answer

Submitted info on an auto transport site around March 1, 2024, looking to transport a vehicle. Over the next few days I received responses from multiple companies, including Breamway (first contact March 2, 2024). After looking over my options, I elected to go with another company the best met my needs. I informed Breamway that I do not need their services. I did not hear from them for a few days, but then they would start calling and/or texting at least once a day to ask about shipping my vehicle. I again told them it was taken care of. Same results. This happened April 1-4, 2024 Welcome to the car shipper price scheme. Sorry, their quote was too good to be true.Read their positive reviews they are fake and some even copy each other. They copy good review stories from real companies!! Let me explain in detail how it will go with Breamway.They will quote you the lowest price. They will email you a contract stating that price and if you agree you will put down some money. Oops sorry, billing **** is having issues so they only accept non refundable zelle and cashapp THAT right there shows it's a scam!! The contract is worded very carefully, it always says "estimated price" and that you cannot cancel. So your deposit is gone. When a contractor is in the area to pickup they will say they have someone right there and the price will be 2-3x higher. **They even told me straight up later on nobody they contract with will deliver my car for the price they gave me** Even if you agreed to pay them more who's to say they won't ask for even more to actually deliver it. They hold you ******. Then you will get texts and emails from their buddies, it's all a big scheme same people but different fake company names, and they all want your deposit. This is how it works, there's companies/brokers that put out a request to pickup the car for $X00. There are drivers/contractors that decide which cars to pickup. If a driver decides it's worth $1X00 then your broker will tell you it's now $1X00. If you decline then you will just wait days, weeks, months to maybe find a driver that will pick it up for cheaper. It will never get picked up if you don't come up on your price. So these company/brokers all make a little on the side and to get you to go with them first they start out with a super low price and get that deposit. After that they don't care if it ships or ever ships they got your money. And they think this is all OK honest business. When you find out they are a price scam and want to cancel then they blame you for breaking contract and won't refund your money. There's even typos on their website which is another red flag. This is not an honest business. Ive shipped a few cars in the past and never fell into these shipping price scammers. I'm sure they will respond that I am not a customer or it's my fault. They will not return my deposit. They quoted me $532 then price changed to $1450!Business Response
