  Unsanitary gaming areas and food/drink preparation, lack of security awareness, questionable game play and marketing incentives, and unsafe navigation through construction areas all make up the last 7 visits from weekly visitor to ********** further (not worth the drive) casino. Unsanitary Gaming Areas - yes, they have cleaning staff, but they stand around more than cleaning high traffic gaming areas. Food/Drink preparation - Slow drink service, though now I wont even order a drink after witnessing a bartender sneeze covering it with his hands then using his hand to put an orange slice on a beer cup. Marketing ************* Play - First off, dont expect to win everytime though I find it odd that machines behave differently on same bet amounts when you remove your gaming card. In addition, weekly free play amount calculations seem off. When you are winning more, they give you more weekly free play. When you are spending more and winning less, they lower your free play. Lack of Security - The last 6/7 visits I was either asked for money, cigarettes or approach by people wondering the casino versus playing. This shows security isnt paying attention. If they arent paying attention to this, think about if someone has more malicious intent. Especially given there is not any sort of security scan upon entrance. Construction Areas - they have been adding dining halls, parking lots, etc. No proper signage to navigate what is open and what is not was not thought through. This is unsafe for drivers and pedestrians. I was almost hit by an unaware driver last trip because there was no signage for the new garage. Be weary of even making the time to go to this place. It used to be good but seems to be going through some sort of transition. There are many (better) closer casinos to *********.

  I love the casino the hotel and the employees but i was wrongfully accused of having something on me that I do not participate in. When I reached out to them for having charges put on Mt card without my consent the head of security began to yell at me and not letting me speak at which point he hung up the phone in me so not professional. All I wanted was a little information to know exactly what was going on. I reached out again and security once again did not let me speak with anyone in casino management. I feel I was wrongfully accused and treated unfair I spend thousands of dollars at this facility and they treated me like I was irelavent. All I want to do with this complaint is clarity the situation because I know I was not at fault.

  I was just at Viejas 12/31/2023 **** hours, and had won a small amount on a machine. Being that this was a very rare occasion for me to actually win a member of the party I went with started to record my win. We were immediately approached by a security guard who told us not to record. Now, nowhere upon entering the casino from the parking garage, nor anywhere else on the floor was there any signage stating the Casinos policy stating recording either with professional equipment or personal cell phone Was not allowed. I am perfectly fine with being informed we were not allowed to record however the manner in which the individual Security guard did it was unprofessional and threatening! He also demanded we delete the video and threatened to confiscate the phone if we did not! We were so angry at his threat we left the casino! ********* Resources Manager needs to be made aware of how individuals act on behalf of the Casino. That type of challenging and threatening behavior is unacceptable! We did not even act aggressively toward him because we were still shocked and telling him we were unaware of the policy but he said you dont need to see a policy because Im telling you! Then continued to demand we delete the video or else he would make us or take the phone! So rather than allow the situation to escalate to a physical confrontation we left! You can only imagine the anger we had trying to be the bigger person in this situation! Needless to say we will never be going back! And we definitely feel targeted since we witnessed other guests recording but nothing was said to them!

  Not worth it Normally in the morning no games pay out not even a bonus game waited longer in construction to get there than time spent playing Im not saying I regret playing I just regret choosing viejas as I wouldnt even Can what I did playing Go elsewhere not here

  After a long drive to the Viejas Casino, I had to the restroom. After I used the restroom, while I was washing and drying my hands, a security guard named *** *****, asked me if I was at least 21 years of age. I told her that I was, and that I was just going to the restroom to quickly relieve myself. She asked if I minded showing her my ID, I told her that I did mind because we were in the restroom. I also expressed that I was going back downstairs, to be issued a gaming card; and would have my age verified then. She said okay, and I left the restroom. I went back downstairs immediately after. We all stood in line and were issued game cards. I used my passport to verify my age, and was also issued a game card. Well, when I went back upstairs, another security guard named ******* was there. He asks me, do you have that ID? It was at this point where I felt like I was being harassed. I asked for a supervisor, because I just had my age verified downstairs. He calls for a supervisor, and *** ***** appears. Seems to me that she orchestrated this entire ordeal, because I didnt show her my ID in the restroom. My aunt was also there, and she overheard ****, another security guard, on the walkie-talkies, instructing the other security guards to be on the lookout for me. I tried to offer proof with the game card, which seemed acceptable for everyone else, but to no avail. I was forced to show proof of my age. After all of this, I decided not to play because I was targeted and harassed by security. We were gaslit under the guise of the security guards just doing their job, however, I was the only one being targeted, harassed, and asked to present an ID by the security; and it seemed like it was to their satisfaction. There was no empathy or remorse as a result of how I was made to feel, Its was expressly made through the snarky smiles, and unnecessary commentary from ******* after the situation had occurred. He seemed very much satisfied with the way I was made to feel.

  This is my second submission and I expect it to be posted on the BBB under Viejas Casino as the information I am providing is 100% verifiable fact which the public deserves to know before they make the decision to go there.________In 2020, after dropping $40,000+ into the slot machines at Viejas casino, Viejas says I allegedly dropped a bag of narcotics on the casino floor. Without even speaking to me, Viejas had a ********* Deputy follow me off the property, pull me over on the freeway and inform me of the casinos false allegations. Nothing became of it but a 6 month ban from the casino and a whole lot of embarrassment. (Or so I thought!) In addition to losing all of the earned high dollar free-play due to the ban, Viejas attempt to prosecute followed by the District Attorneys refusal, an error showed up in my court records. An arrest that was recorded incorrectly when it had been a simple field stop. Viejas should be held accountable for the defamation and damage they did to my life, yet all they do is ignore me!The BBB will not accept my complaint because ithe false accusations occurred over a year ago, however I did not know of the real damages until recently. I am actively pursuing justice and I will not stop until Viejas makes this right!
