    On Friday May 19th 2023, I made a holding deposit of $1500 for a vehicle (2016 **** Mustang) with the understanding that this would hold the car for 2 weeks and the deposit would be refundable (discussed over the phone). Nothing was signed stating it was non-refundable and I received no receipt despite being told I'd receive one. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to go through with the purchase of the car and within 24 hours, notified the manager of GC Financial Corp, *******, via text after my phone call was not picked up. I was able to contact a salesperson that same day via phone call to notify them; they told me they would let the manager know. I tried to get in contact with the manager that weekend and received no information.On Monday May 22 2023, I was informed by the same salesperson of the dealership that this deposit is non-refundable. After asking to speak to the manager, I was told I would be called the next day as the manager had left for the day.Today, Tuesday May 23rd 2023, I have yet to receive a call from the manager despite my own attempts to reach out (via text) and despite ******* being very responsive prior to my refund request. I believe there is a law that states that a dealership must provide a written document outlining the terms of the deposit. Because I have neither received or signed any document of the sort, I would like to take the appropriate steps in order to have my deposit of $1500 refunded. I have sent an email out to the dealership informing them of the same and my intention to report them to the better business bureau. I have attached screenshots regarding the deposit being received. (Note: The dealership asked for $1500 instead of a $500 deposit due to my request to have the car held for longer than normal. [discussed over the phone]

    This is incorrect. This business has known of this pending refund for over two months. No steps have been made to send a refund, despite having called and emailed.
