      This company deserves less than the 1 star minimum to rate them. Why? Because they are scam artists. Billing is inconsistent and they make claims of unpaid past bills even when providing the proof of payment they received. The alarm system never works or malfunctions regularly and when they come out, the require new updated equipment they you must sign a new contract to have installed. This repeating the cycle of an inoperable system and more billing issues that lead to new parts that lead to extending lease contracts. Beware, there are way more reputable alarm protection Businesses out there with a better price and better equipment and customer service Dont let me get started on the customer service Avoid **** as he is the most dishonest snake working there. AVOID this business!!!! You have been warned.

      Use this company at your own peril! Can you give less then 1 star!This is a badly run sleazy company. My alarm is 8 years old and I was having problems, my telephone needed to be fixed but the alarm wouldn't clear, ***** said communication error and I couldn't get an appointment to fix it for 3 weeks and then the technician didn't come when they said and I had to go to work, then on the next appointment the tech no showed and when I called to check on it they said he canceled and maybe they should have called to let me know. I later found out he quit. SSD made no effort to help me and when I asked for a credit for the almost month with out monitoring they said NO. So now my contract is up and my alarm is only partly working and I decide to leave for a better company and they have the nerve to ask what they can do to keep me, by then I wanted them gone. So now I am canceling and they say they have to have the equipment, the crappy equipment that is barely working, they took it out and I bet they are going to put it in another home. And now I got a bill for missing equipment, they got everything and this is a last attempt to get as much money as possible. All they want is the money for the non monitoring and because I canceled they are being punitive.Use this company at your own peril!
