    This company installed solar panels on our home in August 2023 and that went fairly smoothly. The main issue is the very poor customer service we have received since then. One of our installed panels is clearly producing less than half the normal production starting back in late Oct 2023. The installation team came back to test the panel in Nov/Dec 2023 and confirmed it was faulty. At the request of the owner, *****, I contacted ***** at the office to arrange for a replacement. in early January 2024. We are now approaching June 2024 and I have yet to see any progress. I have contacted ***** multiple times via email with same unhelpful response of working on it. I have been more than patient as we are approaching well over 6 months since I contacted this company about this issue. I contacted the manufacturer of the panel but they told me I have to contact the installer. So at this point I'm stuck.Overall I think this company means well but the execution seems to be very poor and they seem to take on more projects they can really handle.Customer service for warranty service is extremely unprofessional and lacking.

    Sorry you feel like we are mistreating you, its not our intention. In the state of California once something is installed, its considered real property. We cannot just take a panel off the roof go back into the local distributor and have them give us a new one. They will not do that. All warranty claims have to go through the manufacture. Your contract specifically states the panels have a manufacturer warranty. We handle that warranty paperwork for you by registering the claim with the manufacturer. It does take a long time for these companies to respond to these claims. It is not uncommon having to wait up to six months just for a panel to get shipped so that we can do the installation. At no point did we tell you it was going cost you anything for us to get this thing swapped out.  But we will not just pull a panel off and under our dime go and buy a new one. At that point they would not honor the claim and we would be stuck paying for it. Luckily, this doesnt happen to a high number of customers, but it does occasionally happen. Im sorry youre the customer that got that bad panel but were doing everything we can on our side to get the manufacturer to step in. It isnt like its not producing anything so it does make sense to leave it in there to produce what it can until we can get this claim wrapped up with a manufacture.
