We do apologize for this. Received a call on Sunday while our business is closed on Sundays. We did go out and review this that following Monday and services were completed that Tuesday (within 2 business days of receiving the call). Mr ***** is now happy and his system is up and running and his final building inspection with the City has also been scheduled.

I received a random call from **** talking to me about windows. I have been thinking about getting windows but have not actively been searching. He had questions for me including my marital status and when my husband would be home for the appointment. I let him know that the house was in my name and I make all the decisions about MY house. He got the hint and scheduled me notating my account that my husband does not make the decisions about the house. ****** then called me and again gave me a bit of attitude about my husband not being at the appointment to make the decision, even after seeing the notation that **** had left. She went as far as to say "I'm not trying to tell you how to run your household but..." Finally, she gave it a rest and finished up letting me know that someone would be out at 10:30 the next morning. At 10:30 no one, at 10:45 no one. Finally, I called in at 11:00 to find out that they couldn't get a hold of me to let me know the name of the person coming out so they didn't want to waste someones time. Mind you there was no hone call, no voicemail, no email, NO COMMUNICATION. This company clearly has a problem with capable female home owners making a decision about their own house and finances. Select Home Improvements join the my in 2023!!! They also have no regard for potential customers time. What a waste of my time. Don't fall victim to this company, as there are plenty of other companies that will gladly take your business while taking you seriously and treating you professionally.

Hi, Unfortunately, our company has a policy of meeting with both spouses to protect both the customer and us the company. We have been burned many times in the past with someone agreeing to a contract then purchasing materials and then the other spouse changes their mind. Also we protect the consumer by making sure both of the married people order what was desired leaving nothing to confusion. I was informed that ******* explained this to you but you didn't like this policy, which is ok, some companies are not a fit for everyone.

The fact that this company has been "burned" in the past is a reflection on the company and I see why based on my limited customer interaction. If this is indeed your company policy, why did **** set up an appointment? After setting up the appointment, why then did ******* confirm the appointment and even verify that I am the only name on the title in a second phone call? The problem is not the policy, which is very outdated, but the fact that ******* confirmed the appointment when she should have cancelled if she were following the policy. Additionally, when I called in to find out why the person did not show, I was told that they didn't show because they couldn't get ahold of me to tell me the name of the consultant. Again this is false as my phone was on and with me. No VM was left no regard for the customer that your company decided to "burn." Select Home Improvements needs to go back and listen to the actual conversation, that hopefully was recored, so that ******* can be trained and spoken to about her poor customer service. You should know I have no problem NOT using your company if that is the policy, but to waste my time with two separate phone calls, confirming both times, is poor customer service. That is why you get burned by customers. I want others to be aware of your outdated policies and that you have no problem not showing even after confirming twice.
