    On January 11, 2025, I booked a female-only room at Bposhtels-Anaheim. On January 19, I extended my stay for one more night. A few hours later, I received a message from ********* informing me to check out immediately and that I was banned from making future reservations at *********. When I arrived at *********, I expected my stay there would be comfortable and harmonious. Unfortunately, there was an African woman name ***** staying in ********* #*** - Bunk bed #**, who was unfriendly towards me and another guest who is Hispanic. At that time, the other women in the dorm room were Asian and ************ interactions with *****, whom I believe is African, was unpleasant. I am a Black American woman and on during the evening that I checked into the hostel, I greeted her at the vanity sink with a polite "Hi," but she responded with a scornful, threatening look. This baffled me, as weeks earlier, ****** had introduced us, and our initial meeting had been friendly.On another occasion, ***** was in the bathroom for a while. I lightly tapped on the door to let her know I needed to use it. After several minutes, I knocked again and told her I needed to use the bathroom.****** said she needed to go as well, but ***** stayed in the bathroom. After several minutes, I knocked again, and ***** shouted that she was naked. While inside, she began calling me derogatory names.When ***** came out of the bathroom, I told her, "I know you don't like my white looking ***." I told her to stay away from me and I would stay away from her. ***** shouted at me, "If need to go, you better get in there." ***** kept giving me scolding, threatening looks and used objects in the room to send subliminal messages aimed at depressing me. I believe she was deliberately provoking me to incite a confrontation.I believe Bposhtels decision to ban me is an act of discrimination. Therefore, I am reaching out to the BBB for assistance with this matter to clear my name.
