    Wanted to purchase a 2015 ******************** Interceptor from **** at Hybrids 4 U. On March 27th 2023 I spent $130 to get the vehicle checked out by a mechanic shop. I told **** what was discovered by the mechanic. Even though he was not in complete agreement of what was discovered, him and I came to an understanding about what things I would take care of myself and which things he would have fixed so I would buy the vehicle. For 3 weeks we went back and forth about where the service would be done and if I could get a receipt for the completed work. Eventually he decided he didnt want to do the work he said he would do and instead give me a discount so I could have the work completed myself. Then when I contacted him two days later, he said he wasnt going to sell the vehicle, he didnt have the title for it, and he was keeping it! I told him that if he didnt have the title, he shouldnt have had me spend $130 to check it out. He said he would reimburse me the money but after multiple text messages to him he has not responded or reimbursed me.

    In regards to this complaint, customer Chris Halasz proceeded to do his own due diligence on getting one of the vehicles I have for sale to be screened by his own mechanic shop. The mechanic found the water pump needed to be replaced, which I agreed to handle if he purchased the vehicle. Chris was very aggressive and demanded for it to be done with his own mechanic. I decided not to proceed with the transaction with him due to his aggressive behavior. The money he spent on the initial mechanic screen was his choice to do and I reserve the right to refuse service when I feel my safety is at risk.

    That response from M*** with Hybrid 4 U is a complete fabrication! I did not say I was going to use my own mechanic. Being “aggressive” is also a fabrication, I told him on multiple occasions that he didn’t have to do ANY repairs, but I wouldn’t be buying the vehicle without them. He made the choice to do the repairs. He had agreed to have the water pump fixed then backed out of the agreement. When confronted with his lack of professionalism he said he would reimburse me for the cost for my mechanic to look at the vehicle and then he decided TO BACK OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT ALSO! This is the type of business that gives businesses a bad name.
