Riverside mini storage decided to not follow legal procedure before they took my unit and faked a public auction. The person in the office had the doors locked during business hours and it took many times of knocking for him to let me in. once in i tried to pay my bill. at which point he stated he was the manager and the unit was sold. then i told him my things were still in the unit. he instantly got defensive stating i was not allowed in and he wanted to know how i got in as my code no longer worked. i again restated my things were still in the unit and again he told me they were gone to the dump. i left and came back later that day after finding some of my things on marketplace being sold by the person in the offices girlfriend. and again i spokje to the same person in the office and he denied he had anything of mine and he stated he did not know who bought the unit but everything had been donated or dumped. 0i tried to purchase my things from the girlfriend on marketplace and she then blocked me. I returned to the storage to request the history and receipts for the certified letter required by law to be sent out about the lien and auction and I was told they didn't have to do that anymore & did not have any proof because they didn't send anything. I then requested a history and another lady printed out a sheet & again told me my stuff was gone. after telling her i had seen my things in the unit the day before, she reluctantly took me to my unit and upon opening it, she saw some my things were indeed still in the unit. She then got defensive and told me i had til 3pm to get what I wanted out. at which point 3pm came and she locked it up on me with some remaining things still inside. Employees had gone in together to take my unit illegally without proper notice and then 2 days after the supossed auction they posted on my history that they notified me they were cutting the lock. How can they notify me of cutting my lock after the unit was supossedly auctioned?
