    I lost my only child, a son due to mistaken identity murder July 14, 2022. I had the grueling task of burying my only child. Once that was done, I was referred to Serenity Headstones in ******* **. I was in contact with *****************, not sure if he the owner but he is who I met with and have had conversations with. ************ had given me several different dates as to when my son headstone would be ready for delivery, The headstone is paid in full, Victims of crime paid $1735.23 (I believe is the correct amount and I paid out of pocket $1118,23. Headstone was paid in full through a paypal invoice ************ sent to my email address. I spoke with him several times only to be told different stories. I would like to be reimbursed for my portion paid out of pocket. This has added more stress to the already traumatic situation with my son being murdered. I will upload texts messages between myself and ************. First I was told back on February 18, 2023 that stone would be completed 30 days after that date, it was not. I spoke with him again in March I was given another date of completion for 4/28/23, It was not done. I reached out to him yet again and was told it would be complete and delivered to Sunrise Cemetary in ******* ** on Friday 4/28/23 between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. It was not delivered. I called and text him with no response at all until Saturday 4/29/23, I have uploaded text ************ sent to me. He spoke with my Father ************************* 4/29/23 and said he would be done that same day and would deliver it to cemetary later that day or next day Sunday 4/30/23. I still do not have my son headstone. I figured I should reach out to Better Business Bureau for help. With the loss of my son this is too much to deal with. No grieving family should be treated this way.
