    We had a home out of state (**********). We looked up people who do shower remodels and he had availability. We hired **** Infantas to do a shower remodel. He came out and looked at the shower and told us he would charge us $7,000.00. Remember we were out of state, so he had us deposit half the job into his business account.He started the job and during the process, he took it upon himself to shorten our shower without talking to us first. The problem with that was the floors were done prior to hiring him. So we had to redo the floors in the bathroom.During the job, he increased the price by a $1,000.00. We were not happy because he had already given us a price at the begining. We did not fight it because we just wanted the job done. **** was very demeaning throughout the whole process and would only speak to my husband. It was like he had a problem talking to woman.We asked him for a final receipt reflecting the total that we paid for the job. He said he gave it to us, but he did not. He did in fact give us receipts for materials purchased. Months later, he is still refusing to give us a receipt. First, he said he would look at home for it. Then he said his truck got broke into and they stole all his records. Lastly, he said he gave us the original receipt and that he does not have a copy. Okay, which one is it? I personally feel he is doing side jobs and not wanting to report it so he refuses to give receipts.
