      Hired this "business/ individual" (*******) to replace a broke sunroof that was vandalized on my 2016 kia ****** SXL Turbo.Not only did he not properly install the sunroof but it never worked (operated) leaving it some what opened and loud air blowing in as I drive. He mentioned it could possibly be reprogrammed on its own as its driven with in a week, but that if that was not the case, to contact him and he guaranteed would fix.Also, in the process of replacing the " new sunroof" he fried my electrical system which I no longer have access to back up camera or any camera in general in vehicle, no Odometer and or Speedometer, car temperature gauge, gas gauge, digital speedometer, blue-tooth, and air conditioner setting will not display on radio screen, tire pressure settings on dashboard. On top of all of that, I have every single sensor you can think of lid up on my dashboard which by having all those sensors on, I cannot pass smog on my vehicle and get Tags. I have been driving my car on a permit since March when my tags were due.The moment *************************" left and turned my vehicle on to park back into garage was when I noticed all the sensos and things not working which was when I gave him a call and he proceeded to calling me "picky" and all I was worried about was "cosmetic " issues. I tried to make him understand that these were all safety hazard issues I was concerned about specially with ABS snsor on and he replied with " he wanted to do nothing with me anymore" that he would refund 300 but I would need to sign some form of paper saying he was no longer liable for the damages he caused. I refused to do so, and here I am not, trying to get what ever help I can get.PLEASE HELP!

      This is incorrect she failed to let you know that part that was purchased was a used part  she inspected part and gave us ok to install.  Small claims is pending on amount.   Install was done correctly  it looks to be  that she wants a used part and labor for free

       I am rejecting this response because: I have footage from camera installed in my carport where he mentions motor in used sunroof he purchased from his own vendor might be bad. The option given was, that if the motor was bad. He would cut out the glass portion only and only swap out glass onto my existing sunroof assembly but then proceeded to do installation without communicating if it worked or not. Never was he seen testing it either as he also mentioned he would do before proceeding. It was I, that asked when I peeked out my garage because I heard noise if the motor was good after all and he said "YES!".

       

      Yes, I was aware it was a used part. But never aware it did not work nor it was not going to be properly installed.
