    BBB, In response to Seascape's "submit comments" email after our stay, this is the email I sent them:Seascape, Although we enjoyed our stay at the resort, I'm very disappointed in the room rate we were charged! When I reviewed the "Stay Three Nights and Save" package option, put in our desired dates, the room rate for our three nights showed $294 for each night. When I selected "book" the room the web site showed the room was reserved, but it did not show me a breakdown of the room rate being charged, the Occupancy Tax, Resort Fee, or any of the other miscellaneous (hidden!) fees. When I called shortly after booking the room and informed the front desk I hadn't received a confirmation email, she said they were having problems with their email and the manager would look into the problem. I never did receive a confirmation email after multiple calls and verifying the correct email address was being used, and even gave my wife's email as an alternative. Still never received a confirmation email, however, I did receive a reminder that our stay was approaching in a few days! Funny how the email worked for the reminder but not for the room confirmation. Needless to say, I was surprised by the final bill showing a more expensive room rate, not to mention all of the hidden fees! I intend to call the Better Business Bureau and inform them of the misleading and incorrect room rate we were charged, and your practice of charging hidden fees. Also, I plan to post a negative review on social media for "buyer beware" of charges and fees at Seascape Resort!Sincerely,********************* We stayed 3-18-24 through 3-21-24, and the above was submitted 3-27-24 andI have not received a reply.
