This company was hired by my HOA to restore water damage that occurred in my condo back in January. An initial company was brought out to do the demo and then they switched over to KB for the restoration. Not only did my condo sit untouched, as in no one even came by for a walk though for nearly 2 months, but when they finally did start working, they were careless and unbothered by safety codes. They installed multiple cracked granite countertops - they were upset when we had them switch them out. They installed damaged wood cabinets that weren't lined up properly - they were upset when we had them fix it. They said the work was complete in September, but parts of the cabinets were still missing. Multiple appointments were missed so my tenant unnecessarily missed work on multiple occasions because the site supervisor *********************** can't keep to a schedule. He also had no idea what was going on at the work site, even after the complaints were brought directly to him.The icing on the cake is when they destroyed my medicine cabinet and then installed the cheapest one they could find as a replacement when plenty of the one I had are in stock at *********** They removed the light switches in the kitchen and replaced them with non-GFCI ones which against code when a water source is present. This is their line of work, shouldn't they be aware of this?Their carelessness is dangerous and someone needs to review their shawty work. It's now November and I'm still fighting with them to close out this project.

The Owner reached out to us on or about 9/15/22 with regards to the fact that the medicine cabinet in the Bathroom shares a wall with the Kitchen and when the cabinets in the Kitchen were worked on, the medicine cabinet cracked as well as some missing trim. The ** was notified immediately.

I was notified on 9/19/22 that these items were taken care of, however, based on my information, they replaced the medicine cabinet with one that the Owner was not happy with as she did not choose this particular material. She then supplied some links that referenced like and kind to what medicine cabinet she originally had.

We were notified of this complaint from BBB on 11/7/22, at which time I followed up to find out the status. Please see the most recent update:

The replacement medicine cabinet was approved by the Owner. She stated that she had been ill and the ** received an email dated 11.21.22 at: 10:45 pm outlining that the tenant agreed to have the medicine cabinet installed today, 11/22/22 at approximately 3:00 pm. I will be following up to ensure that this was completed. Thank you.

PM reached out to Owner yesterday via email:
We purchased the medicine cabinet photo at bottom of page with the mirror on the outside and inside. After taking down the previous cabinet in the bathroom, we discovered there are two gas pipes that restrict the cabinet and the only size available is the photo directly below. The size is 25"w x 26"L and has been ordered from ********** and ETA is Tuesday 11/29/22 and will be installed on Wednesday 11/30/22. Please let me know if you approve so we can install.

Owner response via email: "Sounds good, I approve. Thank you."

UPDATE: Owner approved new medicine cabinet per the email received. The tentative date for the medicine cabinet pick up is 11/29/22 from ********** and install has been set with renter for Wednesday, 11/30/22.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The day I submitted the BBB complaint was the day the random medicine cabinet Is never seen before was installed - I notified *************************** back in September about the cabinet and missing trim. I was not ill for 2 months, I was being ignored or ****** was missing appointments from September until November.

It's now November 28th and the correct cabinet has finally been ordered, but to my knowledge it still has not been installed. This was all supposed to be taken care of prior to my new tenant moving in back in September, probably when you were notified that it was "complete". I'd highly recommend reevaluating the level of responsibility you give *****************

Please see attached email from 10/28 saying they'd finished the work(the wrong medicine cabinet can be seen in the screenshot as well).
