      I paid a deposit for Shutters to be installed in my home. I have been calling ***************** since last April. At first they said the shutters were delayed. They havent answered their phone since late summer. I would like my shutters or a refund on my deposit. All of my texts go unanswered

      On 6/12/2023 I purchased blinds from Better Blinds (DBA- Sunrise Interiors)******************************************************************** *** *********************** III came to my home, measured for window blinds. I paid him in cash $2,300, leaving $39.00 to pay at installation. We ordered blinds and he told me we would have them in about 6-8 weeks. I still do NOT have blinds! I have faithfully reached out every month since 7/25/2023 to *** through texting about status. He replied order backed logged expected to ship 8/15/23. I followed up on 8/21/23, and 8/25/23 with no reply from him. His wife, ***** replied on his phone stating they were having phone issues, the mechanism in blinds were causing delays, and *** was sick. I thanked her for information and asked her if we could select something else being it was taking so long and no date given for product I ordered. On 9/13/23, 9/19/23, I reached out to inquire again. I received a reply text that said they were closed and would get back to me when they opened. On 9/27/23 inquired again via texting, to have the same message reply. Then that evening *** replied stating they are still having manufacturers issues and would get back to me in the next week. On 10/10. & 11/ 23 I texted again! I told him I want a new supplier or style blind. He replied apologizing and said he would get back to me in the next day. 10/13/23 *** texted to say he was sick and would get back to me later which never happened. 10/16,17,&19/23 I tried texting again with no reply. Again on 10/24/23 stating I want a refund. On 11/14/23 I stated this again, told him Ive been calling store and texting and did not feel ghosting customers was professional and I would pursue small claims court. Again on 11/20/23 I did the same. All through this experience Ive been fighting not only ***************** but stomach cancer. I have not reached out to them personally since November. Ive been researching how to collect and found other customer reviews with same complaints. Hence, my filing.

      Placed order for sheer blinds Aug 23, 2023. Estimated delivery would be 10 to 12 weeks. After 12 weeks there was no update. Called repeatedly. Left message requesting update, no reply. Since that message their voicemail is refusing to accept additional messages. Dropped by their shop on two occasions, no one there. *** to have delivery/installation completed or a complete refund of our $1100.00 deposit.

      In 2020, we purchased shutter for our home excluding 3 coverings due to cost. In the summer of 2023 we decided it was time to finish the project. Never having any problems with Better Blinds in *******, **. We went with them again. ****** came out right after our call and did the measurements. My husband went down to their Broadway Avenue address and paid with a bank check from his ********** account. He paid them in full and we have a receipt. My husband was told it would take about 6-8 weeks to get the shutters in and then ****** would call and schedule an installment date. We haven't heard from ********************* or Better Blinds since. We ***** called leaving voice mails and also leaving text messages as their message says to do. My husband has gone down to their business and know one is ever there. We are at the point of not knowing what to do. just want the shutter installed our my hard earned money back. I have made a consumer fraud report with Merced County, but not sure where to go from here.

      This company operates under the previous name of Better Blinds in *******, ** with the same address. See Yelp for many complaints like ours. We paid them $600 in August. They said we would get our blinds in 3 weeks. It's been over 3 months and we have not heard from them. We have contacted them several times over the past two weeks and they have not returned our calls. The ************ Mayor has asked ** and anyone else to file a fraud complaint with the Merced County DAs office. We have done that. Here is the link for anyone else to do so.       We purchased blinds to be installed in our house in May. It's been months since we have heard from anyone. I have called, texted, drove by the business multiple times and can't get ahold of anyone. Talked to another customer outside the store that's having the same problem.

      I bought blinds for my house with Better Blinds on June 2nd 2023 and paid them $2588.00. To date I have not received my product. I have left numerous text messages and phone messages and received one call. Better Blinds says my order would be in on 9/15/23 but I have heard nothing.At this.point I want a full refund.

      We have responed to ***************** reguarding her order . The orders are taking longer then normal typicallly there is a 6 to 8 week wait for custom window coverings  We do not have the man power to give daily updates. . We can give her a reund but it can take 30 days she was not happy with that  . Our manufactures do ot give us refunds on products. I will update this with the resolution .

       I am rejecting this response because:

      I have been waiting 16 weeks for this order and they said no refunds for wait times, please see attached text messages.  I want a full refund.  Unfortunately, reading reviews of this company, i am not the only one waiting so long for their order.  I have tried contacting this business, via text, phone calls and in person with very limited success.

      The company said they would refund me and it would take 30 days.  I want a full refund.
