    I bought $400 in gift cards from the inn at Avila in 2022 but with Covid & taking care of my mom I finally tried to make a reservation on 4-20-24 but told by Melissa the new owners would not honor them. I ask for the manager to call me back. I called two other times and wrote 2 emails asking them to please accept my gift cards as they were bought in good faith with no expiration date. I wanted to book a 2 night stay during the week & would still be paying out of pocket close to an additional $100 but they have refused. Manager Yasfar called me back & would not accept the gift cards.
    I ask for you help either getting my $400 back or to use the gift cards. This business kept the same phone number and dba

    i had 2 reservations to stay at the Inn at Avila. Jan 8th and Jan 22nd. I gifted two friends to stay the first stay.

    Night of the 8th there was a terrible storm and the town flooded. Hotel power went out on the 9th at 6am. For safety my friends checked out, Avila was closed down later and no way out and a person died trying to get out of Avila. My credit card was charged the full stay of $435.39.

    I called Avila a couple times to resolve. On January 26th, i talked to Austin and we decided we would hold and credit my next stay on January 22nd. Upon arrival i was charged the full stay of $502.89. Austin was sick and not at work. When i went to the office i talked to Evan and gave me a receipt that it was refunded, but my bank records said it was not. As of today, February 1st, my account still says not refund AND i have contacted the Inn at Avial and when they answer my call, they have not refunded my account.

    On August 5 and 6 I stayed at this hotel and it had so many bad things the bathtub was cracked in two places where water was getting down in the inside of the bathtub it was probably full of mold! There was a little sink by the stove that didn’t work it had a little cabinet where the garbage can was i took the garbage can out and looked and the back of the cabinet was mold and water on the wood also the piece of furniture that they had in there was a piece of a sectional and there was metal on the side the table when I wiped it was very dirty! I have talked to the general manager twice he checked on it said that they would be fixing it and they would give me some sort of refund but I have never received it it’s been over a month!
