In 2001 and 2002, I had 2 of my grandbabies pass away. We had them buried and their services at Hillcrest Memorial ***************** in ***********, **. At that time, I purchased 8 burial ******** total was about $9,700.00. We used a plot for my kids dad in 4/2009. My daughters husband then passed away in 5/2009, which we used another plot, which my plots were then paid in full. I never received any deeds to any of my ******** 2012, I was verbally informed at my residence that my plots were not paid and I needed to pay them, which I informed them that the plots were paid in full as they would not allow up to ***** our loved ones without payments. I sent a letter informing them that the plots were paid. I never heard from Hillcrest again since, not even anything in response to my letter sent after they went to my residence. Now, my son passed away on 3/28/2025. I went to use a plot and they are telling me that my contract #************ was never paid in full and cancelled due to non payment. However, they say I have accumulated equity in the amount of $5,********* appears that they have poor records of the transactions for my plots as there are no payments showing the large payments applied during my son-in-laws funeral services. But my son in law is buried in one of my purchased plots. Also, they told me that it was never paid and they buried my son-in-law in good faith basically, which is completely against their policy. No one can be buried without paying first in full for all services. I was informed that the director at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary is ********* ********* and this license number is ******. We have been talking with ******, general manager (original person who we dealt with for the initial contract), and an ****. We are requesting assistance as I have paid off all my 8 plots in approximately 5/2009, which I started paying in 2001. We are using 4 plots and they say I dont own the other 4 plots. Thank you so much.

My father died in March of 2023. My ******* ordered & paid for headstone in August 2023. The final proof was approved September 21, 2023. I have texted to see where it is Jan 29, Feb 2, Apr 3. On April 3 Art replied with a picture of the proof asking me to approve it. I asked if the headstone had been ordered and he said yes. Today, April 8, a edocument was received requesting to have the proof order signed. It also says it will be 8-10 weeks for delivery. It's already been more than 6 months since it was ordered and paid for. It feels like fraud or a scam where they haven't ordered our headstone and are maybe paying for others first. What recourse do I have? My dad is buried there. It's not like I can have him moved. Please help me get our headstone.

I was informed my dads headstone was placed today but it was placed in the wrong gravesite. My dads headstone was placed on someone elses gravesite. I am EXTREMELY upset by this. Hillcrest has made SO many errors since planning the funeral to the placement of this headstone. The headstone is also missing a vase that was supposed to come with the headstone, both of which have been paid in full since June. I am extremely upset that this has occurred and want this fixed immediately. This is unacceptable. My family has several deceased relatives here and planned to purchase more gravesites however there has been so many errors with Hillcrest that it does not seem appealing to do business with this company. As a family in mourning these things should simply not happen. This is disrespectful and a ridiculous error.
