I hired A-1 Cleaning Services to do a one time deep cleaning at my home.
I was quoted $250-$450 for the price. When the lead worker arrived and did a walk through of the house, I was told it would take “3 hours, tops” and there were 3 worker’s present at the time. I agreed to that time frame and left my house to allow the workers space to work freely without me in the way. At some point, 3 more workers arrived and began working without my knowledge or consent. The total time I was charged for was 5 hours and 1.5 of those hours was at a higher rate because of more workers being present. The total I was charged for the cleaning was $795, which is quite over the quoted amount.
The cleaning that was completed was not at all a “deep” cleaning and I have many pictures with time stamps to prove it. I have tried communicating with the owner of the business to resolve the issue, but she does not write back via text, email, or answer phone calls.
She has blamed me for the poor work and said I should have pointed all of it out upon final walk through with her lead worker. The lead worker did not do a final walk through with me.
Since she has stopped communicating with me completely, I have no choice but to try and resolve the issue here.
