    Despite 5 separate attempts to get into contact with Your Valley Builder over the last 12 months I have not received any communication back from this company that claims to be an equal opportunity provider and I suspect my status as a U.S Army veteran and my ethnicity might be playing a part in this situation. There is a phone number listed on their website meant for those interested in certain towns however they all have the same phone number meaning whenever the individual identifying herself as "*******" decides to respond to an individual this person would be responding to multiple towns worth of individuals. I know people who do not have "ethnic" names who have been contacted and have secured homes through this same phone number which is why I suspect identifying myself as a U.S Army veteran and as an ethnic Latino I have not received any communication.

    Hello, The complaint in the letter seems to address "Your Valley Builder" and "*******". Your Valley Builder is a general contractor that we subcontract for, and ******* works for them. Kern Valley Builders is a completely different company. As far as for race or ethnicity being an issue, Kern Valley Builders is Hispanic owned. And 90% of our clientele is of hispanic ethnicity. I am 100% sure that being a veteran or Mexican has anything to do with this issue, as I am Mexican too. 

    In conclusion, I think this complaint may have been made against the wrong company.
