    I purchased a car key from the above-mentioned business on 7/8/24, He was the third ****** I contacted that day, because the first 2, told me they didn't have the correct key for my vehicle. When I called him, he stated he had the correct key for my vehicle. After he programmed the key, right away, the key did not work properly (push to start). The programmer told me to give him a couple of days to research the issue. He told me, the same issue had happened with his son's vehicle which was the same make and model as mine and that once he figured it out, he was going to come back and fix my key. That was over a month ago and I never heard back from him. I believe the key he sold me will not work because it has the remote start feature that does not work with my vehicle because it is a stick shift. This ****** told me he had over 30 years of experience as a locksmith. I believe he sold me a key that he knew would not work and he falsely advertised to me he had the correct key for my vehicle.

    He received the correct key, it works properly for his vehicle I also gave him a $40 discount. The key does start his vehicle.

     I am rejecting this response because: The push to start doesnt work, that is one of the features that comes standard with this vehicles key fob. I have to remove the key cover (every single time) and start the car manually, if I want to start the car with the key he provided, even a non working key, can start the car manually. Hes flat out lying. Why did he tell me he was going to research it, if it was the correct key? He also quoted me at $250 over the phone and then charged me $260? There was no rebate, hes also making that up. If a key specialist is contacted, he'll be able to prove, that the key he sold me is not the correct key for my vehicle, does BBB provide this service?

    I contacted this customer and 

    Arrange to go ahead and get this Keys to go working on his vehicle. I went out there today, September 9, 2023 to activate the key to go. Portion of the key, the equipment said program successful, but for some reason Proximity part was not working the equipment said three or four times Successful  I even showed the customer showed and the person With me, the equipment says successful so now at this point here Im ordering a brand new key that takes on any given order 7 to ********************************************************** I will be recontracting the customer. I told the customer very clearly He Will have to bring the vehicle to me so therefore I can go ahead and reprogram this key which theres nothing wrong with the key that he has now but for some reason theres not wanting to access the key to Go so Im trying last step by ordering a brand new key  And reprogramming it all back into the vehicle. This is my last and final step that Im able to do at this time however the customer has the correct key the only problem that were having is getting the keys to Go on 2014 Dodge Challenger and Im going above and trying to , see if we cant get it to go. Its just a push to start in case no one knows what it is as I stated the equipment stated that it accepted program and even Keys to go but for some reason beyond me, its not working so as I said, I am taking a further step and just ordering another brand new key and trying to get it to go my order you take 7 to 10 days but just as soon as they  Key arrives. I will contact the customer and have him bring me his car so I can get this done. All customer had to do in the first place was to pick up the phone and call me just as I told him in our very initial contact that sometimes I get super busy and I forget things do go on in life , he didnt have to go through this extent of contacting the BBB writing bogus complaint is because his key does start his vehicle. Granted he does have to pop out to push the start button which is an option on the vehicle. I understand that he wants to push to start 

    its at the called Keys to go Dodge only made this for a couple of years with this fob key. Then they went to proximity key and I have no problem trying to work with the customer. All he had to do was call me. He did not have to file this complaint I have always been a straight up person and my business has always been straightforward there actually is no  need to have BBB involved 

    I will take care of this just as soon as the Key arrives here and be done with it
