I hired this company to develop a website for my business. They said it would be completed in 3 weeks and ***** with CodeX Design said he will personally be overseeing the project. This thing took months to be completed. I was quoted $999. This thing ended up costing me $6700. They used scare tactics to get more money out of me. They charged me for professional writing with grammatical and punctuation errors all over the site. They would not make simple edits such as deleting pictures. The fonts did not match up, the spacing is a mess throughout. Margins do not line up. They out sourced the project to people who do not speak English. A man named *********************** who claims to be over the ********************* text me in the afternoon saying I need to update the **** compliance by the end of the day or they will shut the website down. He can not tell me what specifically is subject to ****. When I told him that he is not getting any money from me because the website is still needing a lot of work he said to pay him and he will make sure it is fixed. I told him no because they have said this before and did not fix anything. I have spent countless hours sending corrections on the web site which they will do nothing about. I tried contacting ***** numerous times with no response. i told them that I am un able to send messages back on through the portal and they never fixed it. I had a company contact them to add a financing square onto the site and they did not do it. This company requires payment up front. I tried printing a contract that I signed and it is now encrypted. They are very shady and do not deliver what they say they will. I would like my money back all $6700. The did not deliver !

This design firm promised ten unique pages for my website, but delivered two templates that they simply plugged my name into. They were neither original or unique. They required 100% payment upfront, before any work was done. I refused. So they said I could pay 50% upfront and the remaining later. They sent two more templates and I preferred the 4th one. It turns out that they wanted the other 50% as soon as I approved a design idea, even though no work had been done. I looked at a number of reviews and since they had quite a few satisfied customers, I paid the other $500.They asked for my revisions. I told them what I wanted. They didn't understand, even though I sent them a url of a site I liked. I had a zoom meeting with ***** where I detailed what I wanted and even used screen share to walk him through it. Then they demanded another $999.00 to be paid immediately. This was money that was not mentioned in the original agreement and was a complete surprise. I refused. I was threatened with interest if I did not pay right away. I agreed to pay half.Everyday for two and a half weeks after that, I received a text message from ***** saying they were still waiting for my revisions. I did not respond because we had done that. Then I was told I would receive a bill for the remaining $500 on 11/1. I told them I would file a complaint against them and listed my complaints. They agreed to wait until the work was done to bill me for the remaining $499.00.Yesterday, I received a link that was supposed to show the revisions I had asked for, but it was the same template I had seen earlier and it did not reflect my revisions. This company has not demonstrated any ability to design websites. They simply revise templates. Anything beyond that is beyond their capabilities. I have not seen any original design work, nor have I seen anything that suggests that they can complete the work they promised in the original agreement.
