    Awful business practice here in ********. Almost lost my good rates for internet at ****mbps and they also decided to sign me up for the ****mbps instead when I had clearly stated I did not want that. Keywords: Kandela is a scam to upsell and up charge you. They want you to get the most expensive product with certain services so you spend the most money. This is a scam and bag business practice. Please, do your services by yourself, or have someone you know help you. Do NOT go through this third party leech of a company. They owe me time I will never get back, and I'm upset I fell for this. I hope this company rots

    Kandela's partnership with ComEd (electric company in Illinois) is truly manipulative and dishonest. After you complete start/stop service calls with ComEd, their employees direct you to stay on the line while they connect you with a "Moving Specialist." They do not mention that this a third-party "service" that is completely unrelated to ComEd. By implication, you are to assume that this is a necessary continuation of your service call. Kandela representatives then "confirm" all of your personal data under the pretense that you are still speaking with official ComEd representatives before revealing their true intention, which is to upsell you on cable, internet, utility, and/or security packages. That this is allowed and has been going on for so long is truly astounding. Thankfully, I grew suspicious early on in the process and was prepared to decline all service once they played their hand.
