I started working with Apollo Credit in April 2023 for student loan help. They presented me with 2 options for student loan forgiveness. One that would decrease my monthly payment and another option, that if I paid them an amount of money, that they could resolve my student loan. I paid them $4950 to have them resolve my student loan through the Fair Credit Reporting Act and was told it would be taken care of in a couple of months. Here we are a year later and the issue has still not been taken care of. I have still had to make monthly payments and now I cannot even get ahold of Apollo Credit. They will not return my emails or phone calls. They have filed identify theft complaints on my behalf that I never facilitated and I had to provide them with personal information that I do not know if they have used elsewhere. At this point, I want my money back and I will continue paying my student loan monthly. I also want to be sure my personal information (license number and social security number have not been used elsewhere). I have all my emails and documents saved from this company if you need further information.

RE: Response to BBB Complaint ****** ********
      Company: Apollo Credit Processing
      Disputed Amount: $4,950.00
Date of Agreement: April 5, 2023
Signed Contract ID: DocuSign Envelope ID: ************************************

      To Whom It May Concern,
This response addresses the complaint submitted by ****** *********************** services allegedly performed by Apollo Credit Processing. After thorough internal review, it is clear that the information submitted in the complaint is both inaccurate and misrepresentative of the contractual agreement Ms. ******** voluntarily entered into.

      Summary of the Client Relationship
On April 5, 2023, Ms. ******** signed and executed a full Credit ************** Agreement with Apollo Credit Processing, including:
      A signed Credit **************s Agreement
A signed Authorization for Credit Repair Action
Consumer Credit File Rights disclosures (CROA)
      Right to Cancel notice
A fee schedule outlining a $5,000 document processing fee for student loan resolution
All documents were executed electronically and are on file, bearing her name and signature.

Key Contractual Terms That Contradict Her Claims
      Clear Agreement of Services Rendered
I, ****** ********, agree to pay $5,000 for document processing for STUDENT LOAN Removal.
Ms. ******** authorized and paid for services related specifically to ****-based documentation and dispute processing. These services were initiated promptly following execution of the agreement.
Signed Authorization to Act on Her Behalf
I hereby authorize Apollo Credit to prepare and submit all necessary documents to improve my credit.
Her claim that documents were submitted without permission is inaccurate. She explicitly granted authorization to Apollo Credit to carry out credit improvement actions on her behalf with the three major credit bureaus.
      Release of Claims Clause
I hereby release Apollo Credit from all claims based on the circumstances of this contract.
This clause, which she agreed to, limits the grounds upon which she can retroactively dispute service terms that were clearly disclosed and agreed upon.
      Right to Cancel Not Exercised
You may cancel this contract within 3 business days.
Ms. ******** never exercised her right to cancel within the permitted window. This confirms full contractual commitment on her part.

Response to Specific Allegations in the Complaint
Claim: I cannot get ahold of Apollo Credit.
Fact: Internal records confirm multiple contact attempts and service logs. Ms. ******** ceased responding after services began.
Claim: I did not facilitate identity theft filings.
Fact: She authorized credit dispute filings in her agreement, including the use of identity-based documentation if necessary for FCRA compliance.
Claim: I want my money back.
Fact: Fees were collected for document preparation and processing as outlined in the signed agreement. These services were provided and are non-refundable under the agreed terms.

      Conclusion
The claim submitted by Ms. ******** is inconsistent with the signed service agreement, scope of services, and her authorization of all actions taken. There is no evidence of wrongdoing, misrepresentation, or unresponsiveness on the part of Apollo Credit Processing.
We request this complaint be removed from our BBB profile as it contains inaccurate statements, misrepresents a contractual relationship, and attempts to reverse services that were rendered in good faith and under a binding agreement.
      Sincerely,
      Apollo Credit Processing ******************************start="4060" data-end="4063">*********************

I am rejecting this response because: Although, yes, I did sign a contract with Apollo Credit, they did not hold up their end of the contract, as I am still and currently paying on my student loan monthly. I had made many attempts to email back and forth with them, but after several months, my emails starting bouncing back to me and I was notified that the company was no longer valid. My last undelivered email was on 7/7/24 and my last email that was responded to by Apollo Credit was 1/8/24. I have not heard back from them in over a year.

      Sincerely,

      ****** ********

      Dear *******

Thank you for the follow-up and the opportunity to clarify

We want to first acknowledge the consumers frustration. We understand how important communication and follow-through are, especially when dealing with credit and financial matters

That said we have carefully reviewed our records and it appears that our team did provide the services outlined in the original agreement. Communication with the consumer was active through January 2024. Any missed responses after that point may have been impacted by internal transitions including email and system updates that were underway at the time. We sincerely regret if that caused any confusion or difficulty in reaching us

Its also important to clarify that while we offer credit and document preparation services, we do not control or eliminate federal student loan payments. That is managed by the loan servicer and is separate from the scope of our support

We recognize that expectations may have become misaligned and thats unfortunate. Our goal is always to offer real support and leave clients in a better position than where they started. While we believe our team fulfilled the service agreement we are empathetic to the situation and hope this brings clarity to the matter

      Sincerely
      Apollo Credit Processing LLC

I was contacted by Apollo Credit (AP) to assist in discharging my student loans, totaling $35,000. I was told by then-representative, ***************************, that the loan servicers were in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act for not notifying me in writing when the loans transferred between servicers. As such, for a fee of $3,500, AP would issue a challenge on my behalf to the credit bureaus in order to have the loans removed from my credit report. I made 2 payments of $1,750, via Zelle, on good faith the challenge was legal and above board. During the months of November and December, 2023, I received correspondence from the 3 credit bureaus, as well as my loan servicer, AidVantage, that my claim of "identity theft" was being investigated. Note: I was never copied on any material AP sent to the credit bureaus by AP. On 12/19/23 text messaged the principal of AP, ******************** @ ************** (same # I sent Zelle payments to) and demanded a refund based on this fraud. He said he would reach out to me but did not. Subsequently, I notified the 3 credit bureaus and my loan servicer, in writing, that a claim of identity theft was fraudulently made on my behalf by ******************** and AP. I am requesting an investigation of AP and refund of my $3,500.
