I had 2600 grafts done for over $12,000 that I was told would cover most of the area I needed filled. Instead it's sparse and looks like I am going bald instead of being bald. (Wish i could show a pic) Every attempt to get any kind of refund has gone nowhere, I was offered 250 folicals to make up for it... 250? You barely did anything with 2600 what is 250 going to do? On top of that there are spots completely missed that I mentioned tot he doctor next day and she told me no it will grow in, well it didn't. They were very unprofessional with joking around while doing the procedure, even at one point a nurse or assistant took over for the doctor because she was tired?! And in the end of procedure said "eh good enough, I'm tired" and shut it down leaving hundreds of my folicals on the table where I could see them, then when one of the 6 nurses in there saw I saw them they quickly covered them up. So you took folicals from my head and it took longer then you expected so you just threw them away instead of finishing the job? Corporate was no better just referring me back to the doctor in ************ which goes no where. If I could sue I would but I don't have alot of money and saved up for this for 5 years just to have my confidence that much more effected by hair loss and now this. Do what you can to avoid these monsters they do not care about you or I. What a way to treat a veteran and a cancer survivor.

We, and especially your Bosley surgeon, were very disappointed to receive notice from the Better Business Bureau that you had expected better results from your Follicular Unit Hair Transplantation procedure in November 2022. Before your surgery, your Bosley surgeon specifically discussed with you to expect conservative improvement, based on the limited amount of donor hair you had available and the size of the area to be covered. She advised you that your scalp would still be visible and that you might well desire additional hair transplantation to increase density. She also noted this on the treatment plan which was given to you prior to your procedure. It appears that you have misunderstood the role of the Physician Assistant (**). The PAs role is to extract the follicular units under the supervision of the physician. When the follicular units have been extracted, the PA advises that the medical staff that the next step, placing the grafts, may begin. It is normal procedure that PA would say it is done and not uncommon that the PA would comment on being tired and ready to go home. Your procedure goal was to extract ***** grafts. ***** grafts were extracted and placed in your scalp. You were refunded for the 25 grafts below your goal and for the extra 300 grafts which we could not harvest. For this you paid $15,295. None were thrown away. During graft placement, the grafts are kept in covered ****** dishes to retain moisture and stay viable. Used surgical instruments are also covered during and while cleaning up after surgery. This is standard medical practice, not a deception. If your surgeon saw an uncovered ****** dishes she would immediately order the staff to correct this. At the end of your procedure, your surgeon made a final review of the placement of your grafts to confirm uniformity of placement and density. No areas were missed. Nor did you subsequently discuss any missed areas with her. The following week, she spoke with you twice regarding pain in the donor area. There was no mention of any missed spots.. At your one-year post-operative appointment in November 2023, your Bosley surgeon noted that 300 grafts had not grown. She offered you 500 free grafts, provided you schedule an additional procedure of ***** ***** grafts, to increase your overall density. We strongly encourage you to continue discussion with your Bosley surgeon to identify the options most suitable for you. It is our goal to partner with you, and every Bosley patient, achieve the best possible outcome.

Absolutely c*** company. They promised a $250 gift card for signing up to listen to a referral about their company. Nothing more included it says that in their ad nothing more. When I contacted them I set up my appointment and I asked them hey where's my gift card. They inform me that I had to purchase their stuff to receive the gift card and it could only be used towards their items. That is fraud.

Mr. *********** is not a Bosley patient; however, we regret that he was misled by the term "gift card" and would encourage him to make an appointment for a free consultation if he has any interest in hair restoration.

Dr. ***** from Bosley delivered a failed *************** and I had a deeply disappointing experience. Initially, Representative ***** assured me via text that I would receive ***** grafts. However, on the morning of my procedure, I was informed last minute that only 935 grafts would be performed. The receptionist and three nurses were unaware of the promised ***** grafts, though Dr. ***** was supposedly aware of this promise. I had to intervene, show the receptionist my confirmation text, and instruct a nurse to write ***** grafts on the board so the other nurses were informed. Unfortunately, as the day wore on, the nurses rushed the procedure, clearly eager to finish and leave.Despite my ongoing concerns about the lack of results from the transplant, with no new hair growth visible, Dr. ***** assured me the procedure was completed correctly. No one I know believes this was a successful ******************* ***** initially recommended *********** pills during the transplant, which caused side effects that I reported to him (Then I stopped). After a whilte, he suggested *********** topical treatments as a safer option, in which I tried Hims topical spray leading to severe side effects, including depression, mood swings, and reproductive health issues. My urologist, Dr. ******* confirmed that I am dealing with possible Post *********** Syndrome (PFS) and am on medication to address hormone imbalances. The *************** was a significant failure, costing me thousands of dollars. My scalp is dry, and the Bosley Guarantee proved useless, offering only a partial refund AFTER a dermatologists approval and additional testing on my scalp (NOT FROM THEIR FAILURE). I visited the office in an attempt to secure a refund, but Dr. ***** avoided addressing the issue directly, knowing the transplant results were poor. He once again suggested Rogaine foam, seemingly to push me out of his concern. Overall, this has been a profoundly disappointing and frustrating experience.

Our patient is located far from our ******** office where he had his hair transplantation procedure in December. He has been in correspondence with his New York surgeon via text, since his procedure. His surgeon advised him to make an in-person appointment with a local dermatologist regarding his skin condition, since returning to ******** would be inconvenient for him. We sincerely regret that our motive was misconstrued. An in-person consultation would provide the most information regarding the skin condition he describes. We can offer a video consultation with his New York surgeon, as a first step, or an in-person consultation with the Bosley surgeon most convenient to him. For example, our *********************** is only about an hours drive from his address. It is always our goal to work together with our patients to achieve their best outcome and we encourage our patient to make an appointment for a consultation with one of our Bosley surgeons.

DO NOT get one done by them! I had a procedure and was lied to. Botched, rushed, had to pay an extra 1k when I got there (was NOT informed of this. Weekend price apparently) I've dealt with the worst customer service I've ever experienced. What guarantee? I was told my hairline and crown. I gotta neither. Just two patches and it's bald between them. The doctors and nurses rushed it so they could leave. Well I had fallen asleep due to the anxiety med they give you my wife overheard them talking about they wanted to get out of there so they could go home. Until you guys can actually help me I will be continuing to express this on every platform as well to the BBB, ************************* and trust pilot. It's obvious they only care about one thing......money. They also said i didnt go to my check up. Ughhh, yeah becaue you wanted me to go to a whole other state instead of where i got it done. That doctor has had several bad reviews. Right after he did mine he left. I also was not even told about the less invasive procedure (fue). I absolutely would have gone that route. I didnt do my research and after all this I called another place in ** and this doctor had better reviews than bosley. I explained to him what happend and he told me that had i done it with him he would have gone the fue route and it would have cost significantly cheaper. Do your self a favor, find some other place...One more thing, where I got it done hurt to the touch even after all these years. It hurts to wear hats and also I was never informed about finistride side effects and now have Permanent side effects. This has ruined my life in some aspects.

We regret that your earlier experience with Bosley was disappointing and that it was inconvenient for you to travel to another location for your check-up.  We appreciate that you have agreed to a Zoom meeting with our Minneapolis surgeon on July 9th.  We hope to partner with you to identify your most appropriate medical and cosmetic outcome.

We regret that our Bosley surgeon had to advise our patient that he did not have sufficient donor follicles to address his desire for a 1,000-graft procedure. He was charged for 900 grafts and received 45 free grafts. It is disappointing that he has been unable to follow prevention methods to retain his native hair; however, we have documented the improvement resulting from his procedure. We are sympathetic to his desire for greater density in the treated areas and would like to continue to work with him towards his cosmetic goals.

Following a consultation with a doctor at this location, I decided to undergo a hair transplant 18 months ago. I was led to believe that I was in the best hands of getting my hair back around my hairline. I went with the recommended hair follicle of x graphs transferred. Immediately I started facing post-surgery irritations and noticeable hair loss. Doctor and staff said to allow at least one year for hair to regrow, but also stated it is different for everyone. My issue only got worse over the time. After reaching one year the doctor agreed that a certain number of hair graphs did not grow and would offer to redo the surgery or settle on a different agreement. Four months after reaching an agreement my condition has gotten much worse. My hair loss and hair appearance is in a worse state than before even doing surgery. During the agreement I truly feel I was misled and now I'm being offered zero assistance with my current issues. I tried to reach out to multiple people to address this issue, but no one responded back to me.

Our patient had a consultation with his Bosley surgeon eleven months after his procedure. At that time, some grafts had not seen growth. We expect to see growth by 18 months and asked him to return in a few more months. His surgeon also suggested that he start finasteride noting that in the eleven months since his procedure, the patient had lost some native (not transplanted) hair. Finasteride is often helpful. Unfortunately, he stated he could not take it. Prior to every patients surgery, we explain in writing and verbally that native hair loss continues lifelong, at different rates for everyone. Three months later, more grafts had grown in. Two months after that, again more grafts had grown in. Unfortunately, the patient has continued to lose native hair. To be more than fair, we offered to replace all the slow growing as well as any still ungrowing grafts. He declined our offer. We regret that we cannot offer further assistance to our former patient.

I have had KP since I was a child and it caused my eyebrows to be quite thin, maybe 50 hairs in total. After receiving the first consultation, the rep assured me that this hair transplant works for virtually everybody and that my KP wouldnt be an issue. I immediately put the $1000 down payment on my card and booked the appointment! Two months later, a few days before my appointment, one of Bosleys doctors FaceTimes me and informed me that my KP could pose an issue and that she wanted to consult with a few other physicians. An hour later and I get a call back that they cant do the procedure on me and that my money will be refunded. However, they didnt take into account the dark depression that this disease has caused me and how this uninformed rep caused an unreal amount of damage to my already fractured mind. How would you feel if you finally saw a light at the end of the tunnel, just for it to be a mirage once you were merely inches away? This company is a total fraud and will surely take your money, regardless of whether or not youre a good candidate.

We have responded to our patient as follows: We are deeply sympathetic to the impact your condition has caused you since childhood and sincerely apologize that you came away from your Bosley consultation hopeful regarding the prospects for an eyebrow restoration procedure. At Bosley, our goal is to always serve the best interests of our patients, and no procedure came move forward until after consultation and approval by a Bosley physician. Upon consulting with you and learning of your condition, your physician conducted careful research and consulted with several of her colleagues. It was concluded that it would not be in your medical best interest to proceed with the procedure due to your condition. Based on this determination we promptly refunded the room reservation fee that you had paid. Upon receiving your complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and understanding your ongoing concern, your Bosley physician reached out to you to explain the considerations that went into the decision to cancel your procedure. Her hope was that this would provide you some understanding to a decision that was not made lightly. We are very sorry that we could not help you achieve your restoration goals and that this has compounded your distress with your condition. We sincerely hope that you find an option that will serve your needs and wish you success in your ongoing search.

I had an *** (Follicular Unit Extraction) procedure on Nov. 3, 2022 in **************, **. In advance, I paid $1,000 on August 19, 2022 to reserve a room . The *** procedure cost me $7,020.00. Furthermore, this was my first time at Bosley, and there were positives and negatives on the day of the procedure. The positive things were that the receptionist and the nurses were very nice and willing to answer any of my questions. The nurses also instructed me well on what I needed to do after the procedure (ex. 1.) Applying pressure to the back of my head to stop any bleeding using paper towels. 2.) If beginning to itch, I should use a spray bottle with water or pat my head to not remove any of the transplanted hair.). The next day after the procedure the nurses washed my scalp to remove any dry blood and to see how well I was healing. On the other hand, the negative things refer to my physician ******************. For example, my procedure was scheduled to begin at 8am, so I arrived at the Bosley office early (like 7am) to fill out any paperwork. By using my smartphone, I noticed that it was almost 8:20 am by the time ****************** entered into the office. He made me feel like he did not care about my time or the amount of time the nurses needed to do well because it was an all-day procedure. Also, when discussing the drug called Finasteride, my physician seemed to be annoyed or become hostile when talking about the possible side effects (ex. cold chills, *** confusion, etc.). I had to remind him to put himself in my shoes and realize that I need him to be a reliable source because sometime incorrect information is posted on the Internet. Finasteride is a drug that I will be taking for the rest of my life and I needed to know the truth. Finally, my physician frequently said he was retiring, but it was not a good excuse for not showing professionalism. The nurses were great, and at 8 months post-op, I am happy with the positive results of my *** procedure.

I had ***** graph procedure done in 2019. Although I like most of the results I thought for the money I spent I would have a better result. I've came back for ************ appointments and they advised it looked good. I feel like it should be better for paying $***** dollars, and tried to be sold the same thing at my followup. I feel like I should have better coverage for my money. I didn't get to see my surgeon Dr. ****** ******, and talk about what they could help me with feeling better. I followed all instructions and use regaine + a pill to help. Just disappointed
