  0/5 is not an option, but should be. This company is completely dishonest and not worth your time. They were dispatched for a home warranty claim on a clogged drain and they said they needed a speciality truck to complete the work. The took payment for doing nothing, and the second truck never arrived. The stopped answering their phone and they are complete criminals. I am not sure how they are able to stay in business since they are so dishonest. Every single review written on this site mirrors the experience that I had as well. Stay away from Gennaro's Plumbing!!!!

  Would not ever use as you can tell by their rating. Only used due my home warranty (First American) and I will be cancelling them as well if these are the type of contractors they use. Never had such a negative experience when working with a company. Communication is non existent. Unreliable - cancelled day of arrival with 45 minutes left in our 4 window. Rescheduled for next day and asked for a courtsey call to give me a 20 minute heads up since I took the previous day off and they cancelled. The office person assured me he would but never got a call. Took 15 days to fix.

  0/5 is the real rating I would leave this shady company. I filed a claim with my extended home warranty: First American, and they assigned Gennaro's Plumbing. After not hearing from them in over 48 business hours, I called to confirm my claim with them. They asked for my reference number and said I would be contacted later in the day with a appointment time and date.
  Within an hour I received a text message from them that my service had been completed for a completely unrelated issue; my issue was for a garbage disposal, they claimed they came to check on my water heater and that said water heater had a manufacture defect and the only way to resolve this was for myself to contact the manufacture.
  Upon reading other reviews I realized this is the scam that this business does with home warranty companies; they file false claims and then collect the service fee from the home warranty company.

  We attempted to use this company for a home warranty claim through "First American Home Warranty". The issue at hand was a leaking garbage disposal and a stoppage in the line. The plumber sent over a friend of his to take a look at the issue and any possible water damage. Shortly afterwards the plumber arrived and looked under the sink. The plumber never looked inside the garbage disposal or attempted to turn it on to see if it worked. The plumber then told me he could make the repairs today if his friend was allowed to make water damage repairs to my wall and cabinet with the use of my homeowners insurance. When I said that all I wanted was the plumbing issue fixed for now. He refused to just make the repairs and they both left. The plumber then made a flagellant report to the home warranty saying a key was stuck inside the garbage disposal so it wouldn't be covered for repairs. As stated earlier he never even looked inside the garbage disposal. This was in retaliation to us not using his friend for work. I would run away from this company and never use them. Horrible company beware! I would have left a zero star rating if it was possible!

  First and foremost if I could give them ZERO!!! Stars I would.
  We submitted a service request through our home owners insurance company and contracted this trash of company.
  Let’s star by saying I have security cameras and the plumber claimed he was here for 15 min. Maybe he was but inside his van enjoying his AC.
  Per the cameras time stamp he got off at 1:28 , we answered at 1:29 and told him to hold on so that we can put our dog away. At 1:32 that dude leaves!!!! But per his phones GPS he was here 15 min! and he claimed he was.. very unprofessional when calling them and kept hanging up! I spoke to the supervisor who was SUPER RUDE! and just said we needed to schedule a new appointment!!? Like we’ve been waiting for this appointment for 3 days already! I have 2 small kids, my husband and I we need to shower. They didn’t even bother sending him back or tried to resolved the issue. Like why would he leave?! I called my home owners company and requested for a new contractor to come out , because I didn’t want this company at my home anymore specially after reading all the rating and they did. HORRIBLE!!! Company!

  If zero was available that’s what I would rate them! THIEVES!!!! They submit FRAUDULENT PAPERWORK to claim payment for nonexistent service call. They said they would come to my home on Wednesday July 13 between 11-3. I was home the ENTIRE DAY and no tech showed up or called. I called Thursday July 14 to cancel service call in the morning. They submitted paperwork stating they showed up and the work was not covered under warranty. THEY NEVER CAME TO OR ENTERED MY HOME!

  This company is absolutely fraudulent. They are unable to communicate with their clients especially when it comes to the fact that they are fraudulently filing claims as if they are finished and completed without fixing anything. We have a water pressure regulator that needed to be replaced through our home warranty company. Someone came out told us we would be contacted the next day and did not here from them for 2 weeks. Called our home warranty program in which we were notified that the claim was settled and the water pressure regulator fixed, which was not the case. It is also present through yelp that this is not the first time this company makes false claims to receive money from the insurance company. I would never go through this company and neither should anyone else. What an untrustworthy, lying and hypocritical company.
