    My sons car was impounded for 30 days, ***** Towing sold his car within 45 days for **** dollars, more than the amount owed for storage knowing I was trying to get car back, they did not do proper protocol to do a lein sale, which would have been certified letter to previous owners or interested parties, they didnt even file through the **** if they sold car for ****************************************************************************** owner has 90 to 120 days if they had done so to the Ca. laws. And if sold for more than amount owed the owner get the other amount( what's left over). This did not happen, my son signed paper giving me custody of his car, they sold car with bill of sale because they did not follow protocol, if they had we would have been notified registered letters or by News Paper but nothing. I've researched the tow company laws and how ***** work and even talked to a tow truck driver and owner of business, and he said they did an illeagal sale and I want car back. They sold not only my sons 2010 ****** but his personal property inside the car his work boots and tools ect. They cannot sell personal property with car, I want his stuff back. They gave me address of who bought car and he didnt give his personal property back neither. I want tow company to retrieve his stuff and return it along with the stolen car. This is my complaint. Thank You In Advance.
