    I am rejecting this response because:

    Mr. T*********** provided false statements.  As I described in my original complaint Dahl Air Conditioning was looking at every opportunity to increase the scope of work instead of focusing on simple issues, which I asked them to address. A different plumber eventually provided the fix in two hours. There was never an estimate or a contract provided at any point in our relationship. In addition, the hours worked, rates charged, and prices of various parts ordered were significantly overinflated. 
    Considering the above, I still proposed to pay $2045.   Mr. T*********** ignored my offer and never contacted me after that. He continues threatening with legal action thorough his lawyer.

    I would like to emphasize that I have done many remodeling projects in the past and worked with many different contractors. This is the first time I have encountered such unprofessional and aggressive behavior.

    This will be resolved in court my attorney sent a letter to Mr. S******* a letter at the beginning of January and we are awaiting a response. As we discussed....

    Dahl AC is not providing false documents and we resented the implication. Dahl AC did as we always do on every service call, we assess the issue and to inform the customer as to what the issues are. We did not look at "every opportunity to increase our scope" we simply did our job as every service company does. 

    Dahl AC did respond to Mr. S******* request on July 18, 2023, to only pay the amount $2,045.00 with a counteroffer of $6,695.25 that was not considered at all by Mr. S*******. We have also requested help in resolving this issue with the general contractor (Touch Stone Builders) the contractor that requested Dahl AC to help out on Mr., S******* property and he as well was unable to help resolve this issue as well. 

    I not sure what else Dahl AC can do at this point. Yes, we have contacted our council to get this matter resolved. Yes, our council has contacted Mr. S******* and he refuses to negotiate the invoice. Therefore Mr. S******* is forcing us to resolve this issue in court.

    The only resolve with Mr. S******* will be through our courts system. We did work for Mr. S******* submitted an invoice and he refuse to pay the invoice. I have tried to negotiate with Mr. S*******, and he refused my offer. I have done everting I can get this resolved but Mr. S******* is being unreelable with what he is offering as compensation for the work we did. Dahl Air Conditioning, Inc. is a very respected company in Santa Barbara for 45 years and we have never had to deal with this issue. This complaint from Mr. S******* is he simply does not what to pay for the work that was done. 

    If you would like to contact Mr. Rod Pearson owner of Touch Stone Builders on Dahl's behave, please do so. He tried mulita times to assist Dahl on getting paid by Mr. S******* and nothing got resolved.

    As I stated in our prior response my council has contacted Mr. S******* and this will be settled in court.
