  The person who owned Rocks Tree and Hillside for the past several decades and is an arborist has retired. She must have sold the name/business. The current owner of the Rocks name/business are not arborists. We chose Rocks because online they said online they were arborists with decades of experience. I called them last week and told them I wanted an arborist to look at our trees and do some trimming. The person who answered the phone said they were Rocks and said they would send a technician out. When the technician came out I showed him our gorgeous ***** year old trees and told him we had a hack job done to the trees three years ago and now we wanted an arborist to do a light trim. The technician said he understood. Today, a tree trimming company, not Rocks, came to our house and I told the supervisor what I told the technician that I wanted a very light trim. I ended up telling him several times that I wanted only a light trim. About half way through I came out of my house to find they had done a heavy trim and they had trimmed branches I told them not to trim. I talked to the supervisor and he just shrugged and said how much of a discount do you want? I told him I didnt want a discount, I wanted my trees to have a light trim but it was too late because hed already given them a heavy trim. I went inside and called Rocks and thats when I found out the arborist had retired and sold the Rocks name/business to this new company and they had no arborist working there. This seems like fraud to me. Or at least they all were acting fraudulently and/or deceptively. But Im writing review instead of filing a complaint because even if they gave me all my money back it would not bring my trees back any faster. I will have to wait at least 3 years for my trees to return to how they were and since I recently grew a lawn especially for shade (which I have very little shade now), my lawn will likely die before I get the shade back.
