    Date of transaction is on 3/23/2024.I ordered a custome made cake for my grandson birthday party. When I went to pick up the cake they opened the top of the cake box and showed me the top and it look okay and without further checking I bought ************* because they have been doing my grandson cake for last 7 years. Just before the party we opened the box and the back of the cake was not evenly done and there was a crack in front of the cake. Also they have to put happy birthday words which was on my original request. I called the bakery and they said the cake would have cracked due to transportation from the bakery to my home which is only 10 min drive and have been doing it for last 7 years for my grandson birthday. They want to find excuses to not to except their error and trying to put the blame on transportation. I emailed again and called and left a message to ***** who take the order from me for last 7 years and until today she never responded. I emailed again today and called and a lady spoke to me and was very rude and hung up the phone. I need justice for what they did to me. They want me to bring the cake back to refund and I had no way of doing or order ************ for the birthday party. They are very unprofessional and just want to make money. I need justice.i can provide all email including the pictures of the cake I ordered and what they provided.

    We have security camera recordings of the actual pickup. BBB's Attachments folders are low memory, so we had to reduce the size, but as shown on the video the cake box was opened at the time of pickup and the cake was showed to customer.

    Customer accepted the cake, and payment followed.

    As visible on the yellow cake from last year that customer sent, the Happy Birthday writing was 'piped' on the cake, the fondant lettering is not automatic, and reading the email thread the request for the happy birthday writing is not found.

    Our decorator took a picture at the time of the boxing of the cake, and it looks nice, no flaws.  We hold high standards, and the decorator is very detail oriented and quality focused. We would not give out a damaged or faulty cake, that seems to be cracking

    or collapsing.  We inspect the cakes before we give it out.  Also as seen on the video recording customer was also given an opportunity to inspect the cake before payment was submitted.
