    i purchased a new ac unit because j&s air conditioning stated my old ac unit was no good anymore and needed to be change. this happen on 4/6/2017. they gave me an estimate for 3 different type of ac units. so i picked a ******* brand ac unit(serial # ********** model# ************* which cost me $4,800.00. so they came and install new unit thats what they stated. the ac didnt work as it suppose to work. the unit wouldn't cool the house. i contact the company and they send a guy over to check unit and stated it was in excellent condition. but house still not cool. so time pass about a year later the company j&s air condioning offer an extended warranty for $698.00 for 10 years aside from the warranty unit already have with manufactures. so i service the ac unit with them 2 times which i was charged $65 each time they came but according to invoice they didnt check unit completely. so on 4/13/21 they came over for a last time and check unit and decided they will change unit for a new one. they comeback few days later and change unit according to my knowledge it suppose to be replace with a ******* unit. but didnt know what they replace it with until today i found out its a different off brand unit. not what i paid for. so they came and install in a bad manner and verbally told me thats it your extended warranty is cancel. according to my knoledge the new unit had a 10 year warranty and should of been cover. but it didnt. the replacement unit they install only lasted 3 years and compresor just burn out this past friday 5/17/2024. so they came and replace compresor but they charge me $920 for labor and parts. i went to the city to check if they had a permit to install an ac unit at my resident and i found out theres no record and that they are not license contractor. they are selling extended warranty's as fraud and bad bussiness practices and taking advantage of customers. they are doing business illegally according to the bbb and state of **********. should be close
