For over 10 years now my husband and I have been using ********* meal box and ********************** to forward our mail. In the past few years their service has started to become a little bit lacking particularly since covid. We've had several incidents where we've had to call because our mail was not delivered on time causing me to be given late fees are the male was sent at a rate we didn't ask for it to be sent a higher rate. Generally these issues were resolved and they caused us a little more than aggravation. Once a year we have to renew our license plates. This process generally takes a couple of weeks. An early June I sent in the paperwork to get this process started. Our plates were due the end of june. They advised me via email how much my plates would be and I purchased a money order from the post office and mailed it off. This would be around between the 4th and the 8th of the month. After not hearing anything from them I called a few days later I called several times to talk to the person that handled registration and became frustrated because every time I called and they transferred me it would go to voicemail I would leave messages and I wouldn't get answers right away. Finally I called back explain my situation saying I don't need voicemail I need to talk to someone we are leaving the state we are in the end of June and I don't want to drive on invalid license plates. My husband called and was told they had not received our money. At this point I became very concerned and called myself and was able to talk to the woman in registration. She told me they were now in two separate buildings and she had not been over to the main building to check lately to see if any mail had come in or any money had come in for our plates she said she would go in a couple days and advise me. By now it was the middle of the month she did go check and indeed our money was there. She sent me a text message saying she received the money and would be going to the county to get our license plates. I had asked that they say that they mail them by themselves and we get them as soon as possible explaining again we were leaving the end of the month and I did not want to receive a ticket. After a couple days having not received anything or heard anything I called and asked to speak to the manager whose first name is ***. *** said he would make it as high as priority to make sure we got our license plates and when mail them priority mail at their cost. I felt very relieved and felt like *** was going to handle his situation for me. By the last week in June we still have not got in our plates again I call again I spoke with *** who said ******* said he would that everyone in the office was doing everything they could and that we should get our plates by the end of the month. The day we were scheduled to leave was the the first day of july. This was non-negotiable as I had a medical appointment I could not reschedule. we went to the post office and we had no license plates I became very upset. I was afraid to drive across ***************** without license plates. *************** we were in post office was not open to the public on Saturday there was staff there to sort mail but they did not wait on customers on saturday. That would have been July the 1st. My husband called the postmaster who called the post office and they were kind enough to look through our mail. We did indeed have our plates the day we left. About a week and a half later ****** asked me to write the business. I gave them two stars with no narrative due to the frustration and stress it had caused us with all the attempted calls and getting voicemail and not getting calls back promptly and not getting our plates by the end of the month. The day after I did this rating I noticed I had a missed call from *****************. The next day I I called ***************** and asked if there was a problem with her account whether it was low on postage or there was an issue the woman looked it up and said no everything looks fine from here I have no idea why they called. The next day I got a missed call from ***************** as well. They left a message asking me to call the manager *** back. I did call *** back. *** began to tell me how I unhappy he was with the two-star rating I had given him. I told him that I felt like the woman not checking to see if we received our money and not getting prompt phone service had contributed to the late date we got our plates. He told me that everybody in the office and did everything they could including him to make sure we had gotten our plates on time and felt they did not deserve the two-star rating. He interrupted me and talked over me several times not allowing me to finish a sentence until I asked him to quit interrupting me. He basically told me that if I did not remove the two-star rating either change it or to quote him better yet remove it all together they would suspend our mail service he also said it would be quid pro quo. Having been in law enforcement for 26 plus years I'm very familiar with what quid pro quo means. Had he suspended our mail service we would not have been able to receive our bills are important mail to pay our bills on time. I told him I wasn't even sure how to change a ****** rating but told him that I did not ask for him to cancel our mail service and he said basically if I didn't change it that's what would happen he told me that if we didn't like the mail service then according to the contract they could cancel our mail service. So basically he was saying either change my rating to something more favorable or I would not get my mail. At this point I felt bullied and blackmailed. After thinking about the conversation I decided I would not change my rating and I called them and told them to cancel our meal service and we would figure out another way to get our mail
