I paid $425 for a motorcycle safety class. All paperwork, emails, and text messages from the company stated the class start time was 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM. Less than 12 hours before class, I was told verbally via Zoom to arrive by 5:45 AM. I showed up at 6:00 AM, per the written instructions, and was turned away for being “late.”

The company refuses to issue a refund, claiming part of the fee was for administrative paperwork. However, I never received the full service promised. Their own documentation conflicted with the last-minute verbal instructions, leading to confusion. I believe this is deceptive and unfair business practice.

I am seeking a full refund of $425. I have all emails and correspondence that says nothing about 5:45

K*** ******** Called the office on Saturday, June 14th at 5:59 am. I answered the phone. He told me that he accidentally set his weekday alarm. And he was late. He told me he was supposed to be thereat 5:45 am. I told him to hurry. If they hadn't started he might be able to get in to class. He arrived at 6:24 am. The arrive time on his email confirmation as he attached was 6:00 am. All instructors get verbal confirmation for students to arrive at 5:45(Because this time of year it gets lighter earlier in the morning). All 5 other students were there at 5:45.  All students agreed including K***. K*** and all students are informed of the start time several times throughout the sign up process and 4-5 times during classroom. We  have a strict return policy. K*** showed uo 24 minutes late according to the email confirmation he received. Also when I spoke to K*** on that morning he was told by the instructor in the morning classroom (Jim. Same instructor from Zoom class that night before. To wait and he could get in the morning class. K*** left.

K*** admitted to setting the wrong alarm. He was told at least twice by the office to be there at 5:45 and at least 5 times in Zoom class to be there at 5:45. So this was not last minute.

as for his refund. He knew our policy and accepted it by signing up for our class.

As for a refund. K*** paid for a spot in that class. He used that spot for the Zoom Class on Friday night. His spot could not be filled by another student. Learn to ride is not allowed to let a student into class if they are late. Especially 39 minutes late.
