    We engaged Service Master Clean to do a deep cleaning our our business. They completed the service for which we had agreed to pay $2880. We had asked if we could pay via credit card and when we received the link they had included an additional 3% service fee which we were unaware of. We asked instead to pay via bank transfer. Unfortunately, the bank transfer did not process through our bank account. At that point, they asked us for a check. We left a paper check for them to pick up. The check bounced for insufficient funds. We they informed us of this issue we happily agreed to pay through other means in addition to the *** fee of $65. We were informed we could pay through Zelle. We asked twice what the Zelle info was and were told the same information both times. We remitted the first $1000 with the given information on Oct 23 and an additional $1000 on Oct 24. I received a call from **** at Service Master to wait on sending the final amount because they needed to verify receipt. I had already emailed them proof the funds were sent. I received a phone call from ****** berating me for having a pattern of non-payment and that he would call the district attorney on me, that I had never sent any money to them. I forwarded ****** the email traffic between **** and myself. I never heard back from ******. I then heard back from **** to pay the remaining balance of $880 plus $65 fee. This morning, the original check for $2880 which clear through our account. At this point we have paid them $2,000 over what was owed. The fact they redeposited the original check when they had already received $2000 of the $2880 owed is beyond malicious. Please assist us in obtaining a refund from this company. It seems to be this whole thing has been a scam to get extra money out of us after ****** called me several times to yell at me and accuse me of intentionally giving a bad check.

    I am sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience. Importunely, we didn't service your home. There are many Service Master franchises. We are a restoration company. I would advise that you reach out to corporate office. They can direct you in the right place.
