Absolutely thrilled with the servicewish I could rate it higher than 5 stars! My gas fireplace is working beautifully after a recent maintenance visit. ********* came by Wednesday with a quote and was back first thing Thursday to get everything done. He swapped out a few parts, sealed the gas line, and gave it a deep cleanit looks and runs like new.He was thoughtful and tidy, covering his shoes and taking care to protect my home. The craftsmanship was top-notch, and the pricing was more than fair. From start to finish, the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. Even my dog has claimed his new favorite spot right in front of the fireplace!

1 starAre people not checking their work? Is that why the good reviews, because the work they performed on our house was horrible.First off, the inspector stated that 80% of the chimney had major cracking and that is the result of the leak stains on the top of the fireplace inside our house. I said if 80% needs to be repaired, let's do 100% since we're dealing with the original 1952 mortar, to which he agreed.He then provided the quote and I asked him how long the job would take and he said 2-3 hours as they use a team of two. The next day I signed the contract and work was performed the next week.They only worked an hour and showed me the mortar work, which was just an inconsistent, sloppy, porous patch work job. You can't patchwork mortar and the mortar can't be porous or it will crack and leak. You have to do the entire line because old mortar attached to new mortar will result in cracks and using tools to smooth it out helps. You can do a basic ****** search on how this job should have been completed properly. In fact, the photo on their estimate of how they supposedly do mortar repairs is completely opposite of the job performed. The company responded stating that "based on their inspection, a full mortar replacement wasn't necessary for addressing the primary issue of the leak". So 80% of the chimney had cracks according to the inspector, but their workers weren't even going to repair 80% until I had to beg. Good news is if I'm interested in exploring a full mortar replacement, they'll provide me with a new estimate. Um, this is why I called in the first place, this is what I told the inspector when he said 80% needed to be repaired, and agreed we'd go with 100%, meaning full mortar replacement. Oh, and no acknowledgement on the HORRIBLE MORTAR JOB, which is the main complaint FYI.Review fromCorbin S

Unfortunately, this was only a couple of months before the price of gas went up x3 here so we've barely used the fireplace as it only heated the small den it's in.
