    This is to bring attention to the negligence and carelessness of Power Escrow. I received a bill from the county of ********* that is the result of a failure to file a change of ownership statement with the county assessor per revenue and taxation code section 482.This information was to be provided and completed by Power Escrow.On March 28, 2023, I went to the County of San Diego treasurer tax collectors office and they explained the bill to me and told me to present this issue to the escrow company (Power Escrow). Immediately after, I went to the office of Power Escrow and spoke with ************************* at Power Escrow about the tax bill. ************************* emailed me the change of ownership form explaining it was filed. On April 4, 2023, I returned to the tax collectors office with the email ****** sent me.The tax collectors office responded saying they received the change of ownership form, however, it was incomplete. The purchase price line was left blank. This was the obligation of Power Escrow. I was advised by the representative at the tax collectors office that the Escrow company should have handled this and the blame is on their part. On April 4, 2023, I spoke with ************************* and provided her a copy of the incomplete change of ownership form in which she said she would forward to *************************. I did not receive any follow up from Power Escrow so I visited the office again and was told ****** was out and to call on Wednesday April 12, 2023. After a very rude conversation and horrible customer service experience from ************************* at Power Escrow I decided that this must be brought to the attention of a higher platform.It was the responsibility of Power Escrow to review the documents entirely for accurate and complete forms/ information. Power Escrow failed to do so resulting in a bill that Power Escrow is at fault for.I expect a prompt resolution by Power Escrow and it is expected they take full responsibility for their mistake and resolve the bill.
