  I just joined this gym And I noticed that there is Black mold growing in the steam room on the bottom steps. It takes sometime for mold to grow so that means this area is not ever cleaned and sterilized. Black mold can make you dealthly I'll if not dealt with. I went to the front desk to tell a worker but there was no one in sight when I was leaving. You pay for a membership and that is definitely an OSHA violation Not to mention disgusting. The workers at this gym do not do their jobs. This is unacceptable for a health club.

  2 minutes ago Despite our ( my husband and I ) disappointing experience at Sodo location 5 years ago, we decided to give 24 hour another shot . We went online and and got guest pass not because we were not sure but location is 19 miles away and an hour drive, before we commit we wanted to see if drive is worth it and how much time does it take going back and forth. Anyway, nowhere does it say that if you were a past member that policy is you cannot get in with guest pass , and if that is the policy than system should not allow past members to create guest pass but it did let us. We would not be so disgusted and disappointed if person at the front desk has somewhat manners of a human being . I wonder what is the screening and hiring process for 24 hour fitness? Probably be incredibly rude . He was awful and beyond rude . Again ,not letting us in would not be a huge deal but the way he handled it was awful, I would even dare to say discriminatory . Probably because of o ur strong **************** accent .my husband was treated like a second class citizen . If 24 hour fitness has a policy that former member who want to re join cannot get guests passes then they should think about logistics and that website should not issue guest passes. Its great to have policies and to follow them but have appropriate system to be able to execute these policies . I will make sure everyone I know knows how awful this place is , so my review will go on ******** ,Instagram, BBB and 24 Hour Fitness corporate and this locations Store Manager. Avoid 24 hou fitness by 100 mile radius

  @24hourfitness are scammers. Verbally they claim theres no annual fee to trick you into signing up, but two months later an annual fee of $49.99 kicks in. The general manager ***** is an absolute jerk and a pro scam artist who dupes people and he acts like an unprofessional con man.

  My wife had a membership and decided to cancel, July 1, 2022, per her contract of mailing, certified mail/receipt her cancellation to the address in the contract. One month later, 24 Hour Fitness was still charging her monthly and yearly dues. Upon seeing this, we contacted the headquarters and the representative said they never received the cancellation letter, but would allow cancellation and credit any charges. We received by email the cancellation authorization letter, but it was a billing date one month later than was the initial letter cancelling. The receipt of of acceptance of the mailing for the business was July 5, 2022. The cancellation should of been for July but the business, L.A Fitness refuses to cancel the August ***** My wife is ******. Membership # QRX5QX7M26T

  This location does not honor the 24hour fitness three day free trial. When I showed up with the approved free pass I was accosted by the front desk person. He told me that I had to sign up to use the pass and that the ** doesn't allow them to honor the 24 hour Fitness trial. He then said I would need to give him my ID in order to stay (again, contrary to what 24 hour fitness says). He finally relented and let me go in to work out, only to have someone "escort" me out and threaten to call the police if I didn't leave. REALLY??? They should not be in business...

  WARNIG - 24 HOUR FITNESS MISUSE YOUR CREDIT CARD AND CHARGE YOU RANDOMLY Beware of this club, and this organization before you give them your credit card number. We froze our account in Nov 2021 with the explicit statement by their manager that they will reopen the account ONLY upon our request. Instead, they auto reopened the account in Apr and started charging us for use - even though we never stepped foot in the club. This is the second time they have done this - pre-pandemic, and post-bankruptcy. This is an unethical entrapment of unsuspecting customers.NEVER give your credit card number to this club - and if you have to visit this club, be on a monthly plan - worst case, they will stop you at the door if you have not paid your dues.Leaving a 1 star only because the system does not accept a review without a star
