      I purchased a CEOL N10 on 11/20/22 and a pair of series 150 wireless speakers on 12/2/22. This was done after reading customer reviews on **********************'s site. I have had constant problems since the purchase(s) with connectivity, the **** app, and inconsistent performance of the remote and controls on the N10. Had I known how poorly the app and system would operate I would have returned the unit within the 60 day window. Had I known that Denon removes poor reviews from their site (like they did with my two reviews tonight) I would not have trusted the comments I read. At first, the support technicians that talked with me were able to walk me through the process to correct the connection problems, but those were painfully long trial-and-error efforts on their part. The technician that I spoke with today started to explain doing a power cycle on the N10, a process that I had done before, and told me that it could only be tested using wired speakers. In fact, he told me that the N10 is designed for wired speakers and not for wireless speakers. That statement is in direct conflict with the advice and recommendations that Denon makes on their own website where the advantages of pairing wireless speakers with the N10 is touted. The bottom line is that the equipment does not operate as advertised, tech support is spotty, and Denon appears to be covering up the problems with their system by removing infavorable reviews.

      We're very sorry that you had a poor experience with our Support team. Troubleshooting network problems can be arduous and even sometimes painful given the variables and complexities of each individual's network environment. In the end, we're glad that the Support team was able to solve the issue and you now have working equipment to use for your enjoyment. 

      Regarding the marketing of the product on the website, you do not need passive speakers with the N10 if you are using our Denon Home models or other **** based speakers or products. You should be able to Group the 150s into the N10 using the **** App and then create a stereo pair of left and right for the 150 speakers. If you choose not to Group the 150s into the N10, then passive speakers connected to the N10 will be needed. 

      Regarding your reviews being taken down, I spoke with our ************ Manager and he explained that the service we use for online consumer reviews has the ability to Reject a review if they feel it's not relevant to the product. After seeing your reviews and this complaint, he agreed to reinstate the second review you posted and will have that put back up on the site. We do refrain from having multiple reviews from one reviewer on the website as that has the potential to monopolize the site's content.

      After reading ****** M, I'm going to mirror. I just had my Denon 23 months and it dies. I called Denon for help and the denied a 24 month warranty claim after taking a week to decide. I had to keep calling them for updates. I, stupidly, bought another this week and it doesn't even play surround sound until it wants to. (Randomly working) I call Denon for help and their monotone foreign tech supports best solution was to unplug and plug back in. After his intelligent assistance, he goes silent for 15 minutes and then hangs up with no call back, but got a call back number. I call back to customer service to ask for a post call survey and the rep tells me to hold 3 times before hanging up on me. Denon is selling surround sound units that don't play surround sound. I'm not the only one having this issue by far either, just ****** it! Tons of people are saying the same. What's sad is the original unit that lasted 23 months worked fine to the same speakers that my new unit couldn't play on for 1 day and they can't help me make their surround sound unit play surround sound. This company is awful in ever way and should be avoided at ever cost! I could get better sound out of my speakers by throwing them down a hill than connecting them to a Denon "surround sound" unit.

      We're very sorry that you had a poor experience with our Support team and that the unit is experiencing an issue. I looked into your case and found our internal ticket 230217-000080. Under that ticket, it shows your warranty request was denied as you purchased the unit from an unauthorized dealer or private seller via ***** We only offer warranty repair coverage with units that are purchased from a Denon authorized dealer or installer. 

      With that said, you may still use any one of our authorized service facilities for the repair. Any request for coverage would need to be made with your reseller.

      The person that I purchased it from claimed to be an authorized dealer, but since they are no longer a dealer, I can't prove it. If you notice, the segment of my complaint listed above that has anything to do with the case that you are referring to is a VERY small portion of my complaint. Honestly, the biggest part that bugs me is how I buy another unit and the best help that I can get is foreign reps only, that put you on silent holds for 15 minutes, then hang up on me. I call back for a survey only and get hung up on again. Also, if you really want to go back, I have a 3rd Denon that I still use in my theater room since 2014. I've called on it a couple times back then as well due to issues with the unit not remembering my quick select settings after setting it several times. I never received any help and gave up after multiple attempts. I still use that malfunctioned unit to the day. Luckily, I can deal with it. I have now returned the most recent Denon non-surround unit and already purchased a new ****** unit to be delivered tomorrow to sit in its place. That's 3/3 Denon units with issues that I have had and still own. Once the one in my theater dies, I'll most likely go ****** there as well.

      I bought a DENON AVR three years ago which stopped working exactly on the date of its warranty expiration date. Contacted DENON for repair and they flatly denied my request. I have been a loyal customer of ********************** for many years and am very disappointed of how they handle customer service. These types of products suppose to work for many years and not just for three years. However in an event of such problem one would expect DENON would take care of the problem and resolve it immediately. Very disappointed with DENON and do not recommend their products.
